Ward jumping out was really cool, and showing that Fitz was about to make the jump himself was great too.[/sp] And [sp]SOMETHING inside of Coulson is different. We still don't know what. LMD is looking less likely now, but who knows. We still don't know how they work in the cinematic universe.[/sp]

That was a damn good episode

Finally got around to watching it all. Saw the first two episodes yesterday and thought I wouldn't be able to watch the other ones without cringing hard every 5 mins, due to how cheesy they were, but after realizing that they were getting progressively better, I couldn't stop myself from watching them all today. Really looking forward to future episodes.

I need to pay more attention. Thought this episode would have the tie in, saw the thing, thought huh that was in the avengers, not thor2. Was confused the entire episode. Only just now read the tie in won't be for a couple episodes. Right.

Honestly thought [sp]Simmons was gonna die[/sp]. Luckily, I haven't been proven wrong yet. [editline]8th November 2013[/editline] Also, did anyone else think of [sp]Fred's death[/sp] in Angel?

Thor will still be in cinemas when it airs. They're hoping it will get Thor-viewers who don't watch Shield to watch Shield and Shield-Viewers to watch Thor.

Is it wrong that I was sort of hoping Simmons would die? I don't know what purpose her character serves other than bickering with Fitz and providing exposition. FitzSimmons are basically one character rolled into one and I question the narrative purpose in having two characters accomplish what one easily could. They are each rather smart, but together they're crazy super-smart or whatever. What would be better than one Albert Einstein? If Albert Einstein had a twin that was just as smart as him but in different fields of study so they could double their knowledge and bounce ideas off of one another to come to a conclusion much quicker, etc.

Has SHIELD been around that long? I thought they were a recent division that started.

Maybe they were not known as SHIELD back then, or they evolved from an older agency.

When Nick Fury was first introduced in Iron Man 2, didn't he say that Tony Stark's dad, Howard, was one of the founding members of shield?
