Yeah, it's been a massive disappointment for me so far.
No where near The Walking Dead bad cause this atleast has fun characters.
I was hoping it'd be like the segments through the MCU where Coulson visits all of these people to recruit them or have lesser known Marvel characters pop in and raise hell with an overarching story that isn't riding on Coulson's secret as the huge mystery.
The big disappointment for me so far is how they've totally sapped the life out of Coulson. This is a character who was once as interesting as super heroes.
Now he's totally lifeless. Not in an interesting mysterious way. In a "he's totally generic and replaceable" kind of way.
I thought they made it pretty clear that it wasn't Hell, Fitz or Simmons mentioned it was probably just a random other world like the ones in Thor 2.
Hel (a underworld for the dead, different from Hell) is one of the 9 realms.
Was that one of the [sp]infinity gems[/sp] in the preview?
[sp]skye[/sp] holding a gun and driving a ferrari
i'm ok with this
Hoping the next half of the season is less grounded, I want some Marvel deities. But that won't happen until they show how Coulson was resurrected.
So, the show is back. [sp]Good Lord, Coulson's resurrection was horrifying.[/sp]
I knew [sp]they did something to coulson[/sp]
I did not expect it to [sp]be as horrifying as it ended up being[/sp]
As horrifying as [sp]Coulson's revival[/sp] was, I feel more frightened about [sp]the REAL fate of Mike Peterson.[/sp]

i'm sorry did i say ferrari
i meant lamborghini
[sp]looks like they figured out how to revive people[/sp]
[sp]I'm hoping we'll eventually learn why Fury went to such unethical lengths to bring Coulson back.[/sp]
I want to know HOW it worked.
[sp]So.. the brain surgery scene was them giving him the memory of Tahiti?
Then what actually brought him to life?[/sp]
[sp] I think the machine was keeping his brain from stopping. Sending signals all around the brain to make it still function [/sp]

I just realized that myself. [sp]We still don't know what they did to repair/replace his heart after Loki wrecked it, nor do we know how they got him to wake up after being dead for DAYS.[/sp]

[sp]It'd be awesome if they brought Sam Jackson on the show again so Fury and Coulson can have a confrontation.[/sp]
God that was scary.

Oh my god, white shapes with a rectangular thing! Clearly it copied Mass Effect!
Well it looks like they finally [sp]confirmed that Mike Peterson is not Powerman with the recent Thor Short that is coming on the DVD[/sp].
This makes me think [sp]things are not going to end well for Mike.[/sp]

I am starting to think the clairvoyant might [sp]be Coulson's former love[/sp].

The lines and detail are perfect match though, it is more then a coincidence of shapes.
Maybe one of their artists used to work for Bioware and used his own art.

why
do you have any basis for thinking this or is it just a mindless hunch
Jeez, [sp] that resurrection. [/sp]
The thing is, the brain itself has no perception of pain, so he wouldn't actually feel anything.
[sp]The thing is, the brain itself has no perception of pain, so he wouldn't actually feel anything.[/sp]
I read that a couple days ago on TV Tropes. That's comforting, at least. [sp]I'm guessing the pain probably came from A. Coming back to life, and B. Having his very memories changed while he was conscious.[/sp]

Could very easily affect the area where pain is processed.
Being dead for 2 days, tissue decay, having a massive fucking wound in his heart and surrounding tissue and having his scalp cut off, etc, so many reasons why it could hurt.
[sp]They had to pump him with chemicals and do other such things to bring him back to life, I thought that was the painful part and the brain machine was to fuck with his memory wasn't it?[/sp]
probably both
