Winamp is pretty great. Easier to navigate than WMP for me (which is the only other program I've tried).
Foobar 2000 is the best choice because it supports the most file types like FLAC and it has a very light interface with a lot of customization options.
Rise of the Tyrant is a pretty good album. Good man. :golfclap:
It's not my screenshot. I don't really like Arch Enemy albums with Angela. I like the ones with Johan a lot more.
VLC player because I like being able to play FLAC files.
iTunes.
Windows Media Player.
I have a keyboard with which I can do next song and change the volume and all that stuff, which only works with Windows Media Player.
:frog:
But its terrible at being a clean organiser.
You mean like, the Zune mp3 player program? Really? Cause I have a Zune and love it, but holy shit the program is awful to me. Maybe i'm just not using it right...
Yes, I really enjoy the program.
The only thing I really use iTunes for is to put stuff on my iPod, but outside of that, I rarely use it for listening. I don't see why there has to be loyalty - I like ProTools for its editing capabilities, but hate its tiny-ass text and horrific interface, so I record stuff into GarageBand and port it over to PT, since GarageBand is shit for editing. Likewise, if I needed a feature that I don't have on iTunes, I would seek another media player. I'm comfortable with iTunes' interface, though, so I would still probably use it for most things. There's no reason somebody can't have a Mac and a PC in the same house, no reason they can't record both digital and analog, no reason they can't have two media players on their computer(s).
Media Monkey; It has the ability to handle really big collections with ease. Also, it can embedded cover art into the album from the music player. I love it so much, keeps myMP3 nice and organized.

Looks nice, nothing gets in the way of browsing and playing music, and is lightweight.
Using Windows Media, but I think I'll be using foobar from now on.
Winamp
Foobar
Tuniac (Brother wrote it, but I think it's sort of on par with FB2K, Tuniac has some things that are better, and vice versa)
VLC
Mediamonkey

I think the aesthetics and usability really rival Foobar once you get it set up properly.
iTunes

There's an iTunes plugin to do that with those keyboards.
Does Mediamoonkey and/or foobar have the ability to minimize to a light player, like WMP?
Does Mediamoonkey and/or foobar have the ability to minimize to a light player, like WMP?
I believe FB2K has some plug in that allows you to do that, you can't do it natively though.

^^^^Not like that, I mean like Windows Media Player does, cuz that's what I want
Winamp all the way!
Fuck yes.
Itunes does that too
Windows media player comes with the computer, I don't have an ipod and I occasionally sync songs to my mp3 player, what's the point fucking about with a new media player?
iTunes.
I started with Zune (I don't own a zune), but I switched to winamp when I wanted to use last.fm. Winamp is really awesome.
poor people use wmp and winamp.
iTunes.

Foobar
Because, It has so many add ons you can have basically any feature you want. Text display can be placed any where and use any font and size, and you can use keyboard shortcuts to make it act like a mini player.
Playing my Not Played !!! playlist that contains all unplayed songs.
Edit: It also has a component (add on) that integrates last.fm so you don't eve have to have the scrobble program installed!

It's a bit buggy, but the layout is better than any other player I've used.
Care to post a screenshot? Just out of curiousity.
^^^^Not like that, I mean like Windows Media Player does, cuz that's what I want
On Windows 7, Mediamonkey has player controls on the taskbar preview and you can load playlists from the jump list, is that what you mean?
Foobar is the ultimate media player.
Anyone who uses iTunes, Winamp, or WMP is seriously missing out on pure reliability and efficiency.
Winamp, very easy and very fast
