Don't waste money renting shit. Put that delicate money towards a lens you can own. On top of that, there is a learning curve to each individual lens which you probably won't master in the time £40 will buy you.
f/4 is pretty slow for shooting gigs anyway, if you don't use a flash.

I'm having an editors block. I have quite a few great shots from urbex but I take so long to edit them only to get through very few with results that I like. Being more experimental in Lightroom doesn't seem to work. FUU

My diffuser finally came after like 2 and a half weeks. It really makes a difference in lighting when you shoot the flash with or without it.
And it's better than a piece of paper infront of your flash :)

Even if he got the money, one photo per mile is not nearly enough in my opinion.
In other news, I got the film scanner, but it required a SCSI interface, and I thought my parallel interface was scsi because they both use a 25 pin connecter that looks identical. So now I ordered a PCI SCSI card and it should get here Wednesday or Thursday. Then I will FINALLY be able to get my photos scanned.
I feel bad for that kid. He has ambition but it's so poorly executed. The idea isn't new either, youtube is full of 'highway time-lapses.' Another dream crushed because of unrealistic expectations and a lack of knowledge/skill/experience. :frown:
