I spotted some ARRI digital cinema camera walking to a restaurant today.
I often see people filming something with RED One's or Epic's when I go into Central London.

Edinburgh wasn't ready. It's still recovering.
About to head into Holyrood park myself, again again again again...

Colour profiles confuse me. I just hope for the best but don't see any degrading in my images. Digging the tones thar.
I'd like it more if the whole city part wasn't there, or just blurred out. I see a picture of sky(+city).

You both need to get married now.
US laws don't allow it
I found a Canon A-1 at home, just.... sitting there.
What should I do with it? For reference heres a picture:

Except it has the 1:1.8 50mm lens. [sp]Whatever that means (oh god don't hurt me)[/sp]
That's the maximum width of the aperture. The aperture is a diaphragm that can be controlled. You can make it wider or narrower, and however you have it influences the depth of field of the shot and the brightness.
It's made out of a fraction measured as f/number. So 1.8 is really f/1.8. That's really wide since the larger the bottom number the smaller the overall fraction will be. So f/22, for example, is a really narrow opening.
it's crap. you should give it to me.
if you have no interest in /film/ photography, you could sell it. if it works and is in good condition you could get ~$200 for it. except KEH has it for up to twice that in top condition. if you have an interest, it's a great camera.
It's practically never been used according to the parents. I think I'll use it. Once I figure out how to work the damn thing.
dont open the film door after you take a shot, you won't see your photo

Neither am I.
I've had enough of you snide insinuations. I'm not a 12 year old, I know how film works.

Climbing arthurs seat in the daytime is too mainstream.
Are you an Edinburgian FPer?
not exactly, i live in glasgow during the semester and still spend quite a bit of my time there during holidays, but my mum and one of my good friends live in edinburgh, so i come up here as well reasonably often
fp pissup on arthurs seat, bring all the booze and camera gear yer giro can afford?
see who falls off first
People die every now and then from being drunk in the park, they end up falling off one of the cliffs.

youtube sensation
i guess that shouldn't be that surprising

i'm sure more would die if arthur's seat was in glasgow though
