what's your preferred lens right now? I forgot.
Nikon 50mm f/1.4 D. [editline]5th May 2011[/editline] For landscapes I use a Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6, the distortion isn't strong pincushion or barrel, so it's extremely hard to spot in landscapes, and the extreme wideness makes up for this shortcoming. [editline]5th May 2011[/editline] I went all out with the post processing.
It doesn't even feel over done.
once I saw clouds that looked like that final processed result naturally. :ohdear: scary as hell

I just love the places that he put the camera.
I'm seeing how well I can take pictures at 1/4 standing up handheld (55mm so 88mm equiv), with nothing to rest on. I have no blurring at 1/8 at all, so I thought I would give 1/4 a try. Quick one I just took now, hows it look? [editline]6th May 2011[/editline] Not an IS lens by the way.
is it a 100% crop?
No but I'll take a better one later and get one. If I take it on 1/8th it looks no different to 1/250 apart from the exposure. It's at 88mm equiv so it is rather difficult at 1/4.
Just got 5 free parkour lessons with me and some mates for making a facebook page that went to 4,500 likes in 6 hours
I have a bunch of friends who are great at parkour, I should join them some time.

Ask them to let you be their photographer, but try and ask to be paid first perhaps.
[editline]6th May 2011[/editline] it's a lost cause
I like the one on the top row, 2nd from the left. [editline]6th May 2011[/editline] Fields, man. [editline]6th May 2011[/editline] Codenamecueball, your flickr link in your profile is broken.
it's been there over a year and nobody noticed [editline]6th May 2011[/editline] :(
what when was parkour in an english exam I'm confused I used to dabble in it, but I was more interested in the climbing than the showing off, so I suppose it was more just free-running. It's REALLY handy for city photoshoots, you can make your way into some interesting angles not a favorite of mine since it's old and I didn't have the best of framing, but a good example. Shimmied my way up between the two walls til I reached an old cemented in access ladder bar and hooked in with my old climbing belt (literally two hooks on the end of a hefty strap) in case of slips. One foot on the opposite wall, pressed up against the ladder's wall, and got to work. :slick:
we are given a newspaper article or text or somerthing, and this year it was about a glasgow parkour team and stuff, I made this facebook page and emailed it to the team, and they offered me what you hear of!
