latirCole- I'm going through your flickr, some of your pictures are amazing!
I went up north for the weekend and brought my camera. I ended up not using it until we were about to leave because it rained and because I'm forgetful.

Well this one is a odd situation that hapened to me. I invited a model and a (ex)good friend of mine, to a project that I was working on. After the photo shoot, I warned her that it would take me some time to send her some pics, (She wanted to post them on facebook or whatever...), I was still working on the project, and how it should be done. So it would take me some time to send her the finished product. I was able to send her some good pics for her in the following weeks, well representative of the photo shoot we did. Not one month has passed, She "blackmailed" me into giving her a copy of the original pics, said that I was taking too long and that she should already have the pics, but only after she threatened me that she would never work with me again, and insinuated that my work shit... My reaction was: "Meh... Fuck it..." I sended her the pics, and stoped working on the project. Talking about a good and understanding friend eh?
Just fucked my braces. Now I gotta go all the way to the dentist..
That happened to me a lot during the first few months.
I got the opportunity to take some air perspective photos this weekend. Amazing experience. Some of the guys I know from the Danish Corvette Owners Club wanted me to take these photos of their annual Scandinavian meetup. So I flew up in this airplane twice to take photos from above, of 160 Corvettes. It's a fucking amazing experience! That's me up there :v:
Going to meet my dad for the first time in months today. I hope everything goes well, and that his shitty wife leaves me alone. ~ Stoked
I just had to delete a photo of the missiles that are being shot towards my city (I live in Israel) due to security copyrights or some shit, fuck.
I just had to delete a photo of the missiles that are being shot towards my city (I live in Israel) due to security copyrights or some shit, fuck.
no you don't. fuck the police, upload it
no you don't. fuck the police, upload it
It's featuring two rockets - the arab one that's about to hit the city, and the anti-air one that's about to hit the rocket itself, I'm not allowed to shoot because of the anti-air one.
Send to someone somewhere else to post it for you
I'm in the mountains of BC. Caught a monster crab in the Georgia Strait. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/T1LxK.jpg[/thumb] [editline]23rd August 2011[/editline] We called him SnowPeas and he was delicious.
Either of these seem like decent deals? The second one, definitely. Even for body only $26 is nice. The macro 37-105 is a goodie, and it's worth it if you'll use it. The f2 is probably the worst of the Pentax 50mm, and not just for its max aperture.

[release]
CineSkates

Have you ever wanted to recreate the kitchen scene in Goodfellas from a very low angle with Lego characters? Well, here’s your chance to create your own diminished steadicam shots using a GorillaPod tripod and four wacky little wheels called CineSkates. These wheels allow for slow tracking shots, “worms-eye” views, and smooth rotations. You can also pan across a scene with the wheels. The wheels fit on the GorilliaPod Focus, a tripod made for DSLRs. The creator has partnered with Joby to offer the GorillaPod tripods at a considerably discount (or you can just get the wheels). Developed in an MIT MediaLab class, CineSkates is a unique set of wheels that attach to a tripod and enable the user to put their video in motion. They are designed to work specifically with the GorillaPod Focus™ tripod, and a ballhead, like the BallHead X, also from JOBY®. Obviously you’re limited by the height of the tripod but you could grab some cool “orbiting” footage of interview subjects or sculpture. For $275 you get the full kit including the GorillaPod Focus and the ballhead. $150 just gets you the little skates. They need $20,000 to fund this project, so budding Kubricks had better act quick. The next project will consist of a much larger tripod with real wheels as well as other camera products. Well, I've been at my dad's place for a few days now. He is really chill, and I regret not seeing him for a very long time. He is all down on earth, and he is almost as I remember him from when I was a little kid. His wife on the other hand is pretty much the worst person in the whole fucking world. She does everything she can to annoy me. I just had a pretty bad fight with her. I ended up calling her a semen loving whore. Going to stay away for a few days.
Plenoptic cameras. Interesting... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/click_online/9568340.stm
The bokeh and general quality is pretty poor, but I think it'd be great for phone cameras if they get it small enough.

It's been two weeks now that I was decrypting the grafitti writings on the walls of Tel Aviv and I think I'm finally getting there. These things are telling some dark messages, I'll photo them soon.
Planning a trip to Oxford sometime in the next couple of weeks. I thought about this once but haven't made many attempts at tilt-shift. Should I give TS a go? I've always hated when people tiltshift but ignore 3D space, so an object that stands out and would remain a constant on the focal plane ends up being gradiented top-to-bottom and flatten the whole effect all to hell.
