ITS FRIGGIN BRILLIANT LAD! The D7000 isn't even a year old yet (September 2010) so they won't announce another for a few years to come, and even if they did its still a fantastic camera. Go try it out and you''ll see. Nikon are heavily rumoured to announce a new DSLR (D800, D4 and maybe even a mirrorless camera) next month if Nikon Rumours on Twitter are to be believed. They're quite reliable with sources I find so if you want to wait and see, go ahead. It could potentially drive down the price of the D7000 but they aren't going to announce a new camera at or below its level, but much higher.

On my way back from University an alarm came off, rockets were flying towards the city. I was stupid enough to unsling my camera and look up skyhigh to get a photo, shit landed 10 meters from me, I'm okay but the blast itself fucked me up good - my hands are shaking for several hours now due to the trauma, I can't even eat. my girlfriend typed this btw. I love her for caring for me <3

I'm going to go back to my mom's place now, and I don't think I'll ever come back.

Now I got to wake up my little sister and tell her that I won't be seeing her for a looooong time :/

Let's see if I can name them all:
-It's probably not sharp
-It doesn't have a fast aperture(so it's not good in low-light situations) and it is not a fixed aperture lens(meaning the aperture will change from 3.5 to 6.3 if you zoom from 28 to 300mm.)
-The autofocus is probably very slow and not accurate
-Probably produces lot's of vignetting, flare pincushion distortion and chromatic aberration.
-Probably build with cheap plastics, not weather sealed

So, [I]probably[/I], it's a very shit lens.

I never liked using a flash but now I understand why people buy expensive flashes. Love how smooth the light is if you point it against a wall or roof. (for portraits)
