Madison is one helluva college town. But we do have our share. I went to the union the other night for this rave and there was this group of people who were hulahooping the whole time. Then they switched to a hulahoop with fire balls
Wat. Went out cycling and brought a camera to take some pictures. When I turned back I thought it would be nice to test the videorecording, so I turned it on and continued going home. At one point an old man, also with a bicycle, comes towards me, suddenly stops, turns his bicycle sideways to "block" me. I just continue, going past him as we exchange looks. It kinda bugs me was he someone I was supposed to know or did he think I was trying to photograph him.

Instant +1 for lgbt
Instant +1 for lgbt
Never got why the T in LGBT was always thrown in with LGB. It's a totally different thing.
Never got why the T in LGBT was always thrown in with LGB. It's a totally different thing.
Being gay and being transsexual are similar in that they both involve an unusual attitude towards sex etc. and both are shunned by a lot of people
Being gay and being transsexual are similar in that they both involve an unusual attitude towards sex etc. and both are shunned by a lot of people
I thought the T was for transgender, as in your gender doesn't match your physical body (sex), but you're still straight. For example, a male in a female body attracted to females isn't really a lesbian. Gender and sex are different, or so I've been told. /Awkward pageking.
yeah, I'd say they're in the same boat as far as what various groups of society feel about them and their lifestyles. and trans can be either or in straight or gay. Honestly whether they're being straight or gay is another question entirely, heh.
I thought transgender was when your physical sex was one thing but what gender you saw yourself as was another
That's what I just tried to say, haha! Part of seeing yourself as another gender also means you are attracted to the opposite gender you see yourself as, and if you see yourself as the opposite gender, that means you are attracted to the physical same sex - which makes you physically gay but mentally straight. I guess? I'm not sure and could be wrong. So if you're a transgender homosexual, you go back to being physically straight. Sexception!
y'all gonna have to trust me when I say I know my LGBTs, especially the Ls Bs and Ts. oh god that sounds wrong, but I know lots of people very close to me who are in various walks of life :v:

Got my ME Super in the mail today! Still kinda pressing button and what not but don't know how to use it and what everything means/does. So I have 2 questions. 1. It came with film inside and said it had like 23 more shots on it but I opened the area where the film is, then closed it it now has just a little orange and white dot. Did I close it wrong or something? 2. Anyone have or know of the rook on mc auto tele zoom macro lens?(80-200mm) I can't seem to switch it to macro. Any general tips for using the camera would be nice too!!

I haven't done anything. For ages....
You just exposed that film that was already used, well done. Film is light sensitive if you didn't realize.
Yes i know. I didn't mean to open it. But I didn't know it would effect all of them. Sorry. So is the whole roll trash? And what's the proper way to do it? In a dark room only?
It won't affect all of them, just 2-4
How do I know how many shots I should have left? I don't want to open the door again and take any chances. :/ it just has those 2 dots. Can I wind it all back in or something?

so I just got back from a walk to flex out some proper settings to work with my new ollllld 28mm 2.8 macro. (thanks for getting my brain on small lenses, jaanus, geez) [t]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yQFplS-D60c/TmaAT1Mu1AI/AAAAAAAABJE/XXVEOXsxQQI/s576/IMG_20110906_151803.jpg[/t] Walked around a bunch of baseball fields, through two parks (one being built 20 feet from the local water tower), and in the end the best picture I took this whole time was of the cat when I got back to the apartment. :I pretty nifty picture though, probably gonna use it for the 365ish
I dont think so, just continue as normal but bear in mind that the next few shots wont come out
Hmm. Yeah thats what I read. But I can't take any right now...maybe the film is actually all out? Sorry for being such a newbie :(
if you open the door, it will expose whatever shots you've already taken but nothing that is inside your roll. You'll probably lose the next shot, but after that it'll be fine. Your number for shots taken/left will be reset to -2 or so (since it expects you to wind a fresh roll on at that point), but don't worry about when the roll ends, it'll just stop winding for a new shot but won't break (so long as you don't force it) also, fucking score. taken with the old lens- you have NO idea how hard it is to keep this cat still whilst focusing this lens in macro, his nose and his ear are a bit blurry so I ~nailed it~ in getting the focus on the eye

But I mean I can't take a picture even. I push the shutter button and nothing happens. And the thing you pull back to take the next photo is just like sitting there loose. Very nice picture! Seems like a huge crop yet it's so crisp still, and at an 800iso it's looks awesome!
~lesbians~
I have not literally laughed out loud because of something in the Photography section in a long time. That was brilliant.

[editline]7th September 2011[/editline] But it can't be because my 5D2 is even bigger so it's your arm
I'm all sorts of skinny, but that's mostly perspective from having it right in my cellphone's face. I can dig up a ruler or piece of paper or something for size comparison if ya like. Foofy, try changing the shutterspeed dial to B (bulb), if the mirror is locked up or something, it'll release it.Happens to me once in a blue moon.

I can press the shutter button but nothing happens either. I have no clue.
