20/20 vision up in this bitch, I can read this thread standing 5 meters away from my monitor without enlarging text.
Codename, your RC thread is hilarious :v:
Codename, your RC thread is hilarious :v:
I know, all the funnies...
I wish I could see it. How many more? I forget [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] Oh man that's not too many! [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] Also once again I was stupidly left without my camera at a great opportunity. I went to the celtics, but I read the rules and it said no cameras were allowed inside the stadium and it was stupid that I followed that. Almost every one had cameras. And I had floor seats near the net because my dad scored them from someone at his work... And it's a playoff game. I need to get better at staying with my camera.
Someone kill me my head hurts and i smell like puke
I think I'm going to have a hard time managing to do any paid stuff in my area, the amount of photographers that pop up on Google Maps near me is insane. I'm considering applying as an assistant for a nearby studio, would this be a good idea?
Yes, imo.
Any opinion on the Canon EOS 500? (Not D) Can't really find much info about it in the net.

I would say setting up your own small time operation and it being a success would be a bigger achievement, but it would be difficult to do so.
i didn't read the permabanned user one... i have horrible eyesight
You disappointed me.
I keep getting snapped at whenever I mention Nikon, which is hard not to mention since they make all the gear I use.
Nobody here has anything against Nikon AFAIK.
I keep getting snapped at whenever I mention Nikon, which is hard not to mention since they make all the gear I use.
It's not that your mentioning Nikon, it's that your mentioning useless features and claiming they make it far superior to any other brand.
B-hazard, could you please start using "you're" and "your" correctly, it's annoying when you don't. I'm sorry, but it just annoys me for some reason.
It's not that your mentioning Nikon, it's that your mentioning useless features and claiming they make it far superior to any other brand.
I don't mean that thread.
Annoys me too, mostly cause you DO know how to use it correctly.

Roll_Program turned nasty against me because I got a Canon not a Nikon...
Roll_Program turned nasty against me because I got a Canon not a Nikon...
you're a good man
i use nikon ^_________________^
> :(
I use a Nikon D60, a Canon 7D or a Pentax ME Super. I love all <3
A camera is a camera look at all the great shots that /B/rother pushes out with his sony why is that funny
my anti-Sony mindset is great [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] to the point I walk into camera shops and tell the Sony assistant that they're wrong
um sorry but in all honesty I like /b/rother's shots better than yours (but that's just my opinion) so in a way you're just making a fool of yourself when you do that
Sometimes it doesn't matter what camera you use or how good the shot looks. Like this shot: There's nothing aesthetically pleasing about that shot, and I doubt it was taken with the best camera ever. However it's still an incredibly interesting shot in context, like how Obama is not in the center, how small and unimportant that lady in the back who's craning her neck looks (she is the head of the main anti terrorism department), how many things you can extrapolate from these people's reactions, how there is clearly some important information on the desk that was deliberately censored, etc. The camera doesn't make the photo.
no, but I know a Sony owner who is arrogant, bitch and drove a friend to insanity. Guess she made me think the whole bunch was bad.
The differences in spec between entry level cams are negligable anyway.
The problem with these camera arguments is that 'sepcialization' is almost always left out of the equation. Everything is argued from a 'general photography' standpoint. Different cameras have different purposes. You wouldn't want people doing that to you, would you?
Sometimes it doesn't matter what camera you use or how good the shot looks. You can't apply that to all photography. Photography isn't a genre of art, it's a medium.
no, but I know a Sony owner who is arrogant, bitch and drove a friend to insanity. I know I sounded harsh, but that's just my opinion no offense intended It just really boils my blood to see people who base solely on brand, it's like mac vs pc wars or don't get a ibanez because gibson and fender obviously do it better
