kill a kid an hour until it fixes itself?
i finally got a remote shutter release thing that'll come in handy
Anyone know why when using CS5, when you save an sRGB jpeg, it always darkens it slightly, even though the image is already sRGB and the sRGB colour profile is embedded in the image? Tried editing under different proof colour settings, nothings working.
Can anyone recommend a good camera bag? Preferably a backpack. I'm going to Chicago on Friday. (Also thinking about picking up that 50mm 1.8 I've been dreaming of...
Oh nice, chicago's a fun place to shoot at. Especially at night. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gaboer/6159752029/in/photostream (don't know of good camera bags i just have a nikon one)
do you save for web? [editline]1st November 2011[/editline]
Yes. Don't use the the sRGB converter in save for web, it uses relative instead of absolute colorimetric conversion, just fyi.
did you change preview? to see what happened and i don't use it
The preview shouldn't matter, monitor colour should be how it looks in modern browsers, as they recognise sRGB. [editline]1st November 2011[/editline] Tried this on my flatmate's photoshop, same thing happens.
monitor color profile (not set in photoshop) could be dinking with it. I have a stupid monitor that will actually tint everything the color of a manilla envelope if it's primarily on that screen, but only when viewing images. UI, webpages and wallpaper is all properly colored, but photoshop workspace and image viewers got wonked the fuck up by it.
I fucking love Nikon for including a Vertical horizon display on the D7000.
I'm going to email adobe (I have a legit key).

I know! [editline]2nd November 2011[/editline] About it being in SA not the jizz

Talking of GTA, I was under Rockstar Game's building today, taking photos in the access tunnels and parking lot beneath the offices :v:.
Getting a motorbike this month, expect some awesome countryside shots. I said the same when I got my road bike, but whatever I can travel further on this.

real men take their 8x10 land camera everywhere they go
There's not much that could be done. All I can say is use a tripod next time, crank up the exposure time and lower the ISO.
D7000 bought. €1029 well spent (hopefully)
What lenses have you got? Very well spent I assure you.
What lenses have you got? Very well spent I assure you.
Well so far I've got 2 cheap ones. The 18-55 NIKKOR kit lens I got with the D40. and a 35mm NIKKOR lens.
Sell the both and get a Sigma 10-20mm. Do it!
