Been listening to Justin Bieber all morning
Shits good
no joke

alrighty, here is my personal opinion of Justin Bieber in detail.
I hate the person that he chooses to be. He is a sexist, he is a misogynist, he is a man who allows his decisions to be swayed heavily by his God. In his track 'one less lonely girl' from what I gather, he's essentially saying 'I am a gift to women so I will make it my duty to do what they obviously want and get with them' which, in my opinion, is a fucking horrible egotistical and skewed worldview to have. Back to the abortion comment, it's my firm belief that any man who states that women should not be allowed to have abortions, even if they are raped, is a misogynist and has a personal agenda in keeping women subservient. And the worst thing? Girls eat this shit up! He's essentially working to push female progress back a decade or two and no one is saying shit about it. He also says that he believes two people should only have sex if they're in love, yet it seems pretty obvious at this point that those words are bullshit, so he's a hypocrite as well.
I love women, I devote my life to this love, and it kills me when some teeny fuck comes along and shits all over it
Moving onto his music, I actually don't mind his music as much as I mind the person, it's painfully generic and cliche, but that doesn't stop it being music. My issue is what he represents in the music industry; an Aryan bright eyed adorable little kid who gets a big break. You tell me, if his name was Kenard and he was an African american kid from Watts, is he ever going to be getting the same chances? I have yet to see that. you know what I have seen? Souljah boi, or as I like to call him, 'the 21st century mr bojangles' perpetuating stereotypes left and right. No one ever talks about a skinny young white rapper named Grieves, because he isn't perpetuating the ideals that people have come to accept. If I ever have a son or a daughter I'd want them to grow up thinking that they can be what-the-fuck-ever they want to be, but I can't tell them that in good conscience when I know how the game is played. Bieber is a symbol of what is wrong with the industry, put him on an indie label with a beat up old guitar and see if it's still 'all about the music'
justin's just another boy trying to fit in

on a serious note, he's a good singer and I like his songs. I don't really see why everyone hates

because baby baby baby
why did we just go off on how bieber is cool
Fuck you I was about to post that.
Also fuck this page, four (4) vimeo videos launching themselves at once due to the embedding bug with Chrome/OS X.
I remember that earlier this year, I still think they either made an inner body to catch the ash, or the camera was trashed already and they just wanted to send it off in style
saw this on facebook from one of my friends, made me laugh

I think it's been brought up now and again, but there's a things I hate about finding my pictures on other people's facebooks.
-Finding no credit in the description, nor anyone asking. Just "YOU LOOK GOOD" and "WOW BEAUTIFUL", which I take as compliments still, but it gets annoying when people start saying "I wish I took pictures this good I'm jealous" and the person just responds "thanks" instead of mentioning me or anything
-Finding credit, but the gallery is the entire set of proofs and there's no discretion on whether a shot was good or not, making me look sloppy. I gotta write up my "never show your contact sheet" rant one of these days.
-Finding credit, but they took the liberty of editing/filtering the fuck out of it and make extra sure my name is in the photo like I did the god damn editing. I'm going to start making a point to people about not doing that, especially the whole 'still representing me' part.
saying the red scarlet is $9750 is a bit misleading, it cost more like $14k for a usable system
i wish canon would announce there EVIL camera, i watched the digital rev review of the nikon v1 and it has some really nice features but kai's last comment really sums it up they made it wothless by putting in a shitty undersized sensor and overpricing it because they dont want to undercut the dslr market, canon generally arnt that stupid

yeah i pretty much don't put any effort into facebook photo cred, i just make sure the picture is somewhere on my albums. a lot of my pictures have been used as profile pictures (weirdly enough), but i don't really expect credit, and watermarking to me seems pretentious because i don't think my pictures are that good.

yeah, I've got a good handful of friends with profiles from me, but it doesn't irk me if it just sits there uncredited/unwatermarked/etc. If it's "professionaly" done, IE headshots, wedding, etc, then I mind, but the only time I get upset with randoms is when the credit of the photo is raised by a comment directly or indirectly, and no one says anything to say "oh yeah my friend took this", they just keep saying "thanks" when people compliment it like they took it themselves.
a terrible example would be Zipfizz, the company I shot the breakdancers for. I'm not credited at all yet, nor have I been paid for anything, and my shot is still their profile picture on facebook.

(jorge is a cool guy though. It's the lead breaker that made me flip my shit earlier this year)
At least I haven't had an incident like in your picture though, where someone outright claims your work as their own and even puts a photography sig on it.

It will be interesting to see how Nikon react, as that Director knew about the EOS C for over a year.
Now I understand the importance of lens hoods :tinfoil:
oh wow that totally sucks about the breakdancing thing, yeah i'd get annoyed at that. but yeah i didn't take the picture my friend noah did. it's danner's camera but he lets people use it, so i guess i can see why he tagged it as his because it's his camera, but definitely not his shot. indistinguishable from one he'd take though haha
gah I should have learned my lesson from last time
I need to convert the .mov's from my nikon to something that my PC can handle better before I start editing
right now I have an insane setup to keep vegas from crashing during rendering because its using so much ram
why the quicktime hate
after effects can't read them
mine can
on both mac and pc
it has nothing to do with quicktime, it has to do with nikon's video codec
it sucks and is barely editable in vegas because it runs so slowly
I videoed about 12 minutes of fireworks earlier, found them nicer bokeh-fied.

i want to come out on a boat here and shoot so bad
it's this creepy as fuck lake that the Kansas Turnpike goes over
gentelmen, it's christmas time.
should i get a 550D body
or a 30mm 1.4
or a 430ex with triggers
You already have a 1000D, a 550D won't be that big of an upgrade (entry level to entry level). You could get a 50D body for the same price.
You have a 50mm f/1.8, a 30mm f/1.4 won't make that huge of a difference to your photography.
So I'd say get a 430ex, if I had to choose one of those three for you.
I'd say get a 10-20mm + better tripod instead, and do more landscapes.
I need to get myself out more and take more landscapes, I've been neglecting having the 10-20.
the 550D records video, which is important to me as I want to make video.
the 30mm provides a nicer perspective, and I do love my 50mm 1.8 but it's a bit too tight.
the 430EX is just to explore off-camera flashes, and I do the like the idea and think it would open up my creativity.
I never thought of a 10-20 or any other UWA, and I would love to own one
Daijitsu I could not find you on Facepunch EU to steal your dog tag, drat and blast!
Is there software that can do good video stabilisation? Just can't film with a DSLR without it being all shaky breaky.
Final Cut Pro X
fuuucking shit I can't edit this project, it crashes so often
I am screwed
Final Cut Pro X
I only have access to 7, surely its 'better'?
FCP X is terrible. It's like freaking iMovie. I don't even use a mac and I hate it.

How do you know that? Quoting established editors who call it iMovie Pro/HD? My lecturer said its better for shorts, but prefers 7.
