You can use video mode then.
If it stops after a while, just make sure you quickly turn it back on, and it won't have a significant effect on the final video.
Is there any free way to make a good gif out of an AVI.
Google only finds retarded shit that don't even try to work, and when they do they just slap on a huge PLEASE REGISTER BLABLA sign on it.
I've spent way too much time on this now.
Photoshop can.
pissed off an entire hall of people by signing "don't stop believing" in an unbelievably high voice.
Macro-photography equipment makes cameras look so tatic00l.

Got a Nikon D7000
Shutter lifetime rating of 150,000 exposures.
Also video-mode isn't particularly healthy either. The reason the camera stops shooting video after a set period of time is because it needs to cool down the sensor. So forcing it to shoot video immediately after it stops, over and over again, isn't good for the sensor.

Turns out those figures are because some joker decided it would be hilarious to add a number like "9999999" to the list.

You accidently a word in there, mate.
I missed out two Ss.
I want to have sexual intercourse with my D7000
that's how good it is.
man i hate how quickly photo classes fill up at my school.
i might even have to take a photojournalism class. i'm upset they won't just let me into intermediate, i've done basic i don't feel like doing photography workflow. i guess any photo class is decent, but there's like 4 seats open across the 3 class i'm looking at, i don't sign up for a couple hours :/
Hey guys, I'm having a hard time calibrating my monitor. I've tried it 3 times now and have 3 custom settings which I'm flicking between. They are all slightly different. Contrast and gamma wise, I think I'm okay, but with the colour, I'm not too sure. Some are slightly warmer than others. Any suggestions?

There can only be one correct calibration, unless you're calibrating to print.
What are you using?

When I bought a snazzy Ultrasharp months ago and posted a few photos edited on it, the feedback was good. Shame I had to get rid of it!
Final Cut Pro X is updating, oh damn! My friend sent me it on disc and labelled it "The best of Ron Jeremy" :v:
The mac colour calibration thing. My white point is set to D65k.
But the sliders that I set all seem to come out with slightly different colour casts at the end of the calibration and I don't know which one to use.
I want to start editing my photographs from the last few weeks, but I don't want to start until I've set this up.
You'll never get it perfect by eye and manual controls, just go with whatever looks good.
Think about buying a Spyder calibrator some time in the future if you'd like accurate colours and contrast.
Cheers.
I just realised there's a place near the city, that the city buses go to, that's dark enough to see the auroras that happen every now and then.
If only I'd known in the past :(
I'll keep an eye out next time there's lots of solar activity and a clear sky.

If there was anybody on facepunch I'd trust to take a good aurora photo, it'd be you.
I hope you get to see them.

Even though I lived north enough in Canada to be able to see the northern lights for eight years, I don't think I've ever seen them.
Maybe I'll get a chance when I hopefully travel around Scandinavia this (or next) summer.

It'll be too bright in the summer, that far North.
Oh, bugger.
Just realised my external hard drive is formatted for pc's. So I can't use it with this computer until I transfer everything to another pc, reformat the hard drive and move everything back onto it...

There is no night in the scandinavian summer.
It's basically day-twilight-dawn-day
You'd be lucky to even see a star.
not getting a 30mm anymore because someone broke my iPhone.
How about you get the 30mm and tell whoever broke your iPhone to get it fixed?
