my photo archive dedicated external drive is dying (takes several minutes for lightroom to load up a single picture from it), so I decided to take the opportunity yesterday and start transferring stuff to the newly installed drive in my main computer before this thing completely fries. I've already got a piece of paper wedged in it so the cables sit [i]just right[/i] for it to get power
I hope I don't get a light breeze through the office that'll disconnect it, it's already been running for a day

Oh man I'd be so nervous. I wish SSDs were much more affordable and offered better capacities; it would make storing and transferring photos so much more hassle free. Technology is getting better though, so I look forward to the changes in the near future.

I sign in with my Google. I don't want another bloody account. Especially with Yahoo.
I get the problem occasionally but after a few goes it's usually good.
i sign in through facebook, annoying to constantly resign in all the time, but still convenient. now if pictures on facebook were actually compressed decently that would be nice. annoying to always link my flickr account on my photos i like, makes me seem like i'm trying to advertise myself but i just want people to see the picture in decent quality :(

just because you don't think you'll get featured or something doesn't mean the site doesn't work. It's taking over what flickr should be, even one of flickr's original designers said flickr was dying and can't do what it should without a HUGE time and money consuming overhaul that will probably tick off dedicated users of the service and cause confusion in others.
My photos don't upload properly to 500px. Actually they don't upload at all. It doesn't matter how many times I try, they just will not show up on my account.
just checked since I haven't uploaded anything as of yet either, seems to work for me just fine.

it also seems to have corrected some odd color issues that came in from doing the scan in color, namely the burnt brown looking stuff on the edge of the darkness on the floor
