Really only for the DM's, and even then that's based on what edition you're playing and what subset your playing.
The easiest edition (that isn't retardedly lame *COUGH 4e COUGH*) is probably 3.5, not because it's minimal, but because everything is fairly straight forward once you get past character creation. Dark Heresy is right next to it. It took me a few sessions to get but the system is pretty cool (except for the fact it runs on 1d100 instead of 1d20 which is really fucking weird).
Call of Cthulhu is probably the most difficult because you have added factors like SAN loss amongst other things.
If you need people to play with, I'd suggest checking the thread in the GGD, we always have like 3 or 4 sessions running that usually let new people in. IDK if we have a CoC group yet but I know we have a few 3.5ers, a DH group, and I think one 2e group.
