They're awesome. I just wish .303 didn't cost so much, as surplus is virtually all gone. When you get yours, get some Privi PPU ammo, the Remington isn't quite as good, the case rims are too thin and they're underpowered. The PPU is the closest to the military MkVII ammo without getting into handloading.

The Mk.4 because it is newer and the barrel might be better or the Mk.1 because it just looks great and has a tad bit more history.

Mostly it comes down to the No.4s are marginally more accurate due to the barrel bedding and the longer sight radius and ghost ring rear sight. They're p. comprable generally. A No.1 MkIII with a heavy barrel (Marked "H" in several places) will be more accurate than a No.4. Shootability is basically the same. Basically you just need to decide what kind of sights you want and/or which looks better. So daily drama, the last month i've been stationed in south korea to do NTC training, it has sucked but we are four days from finishing everything's packed and we have downtime. My wife choose's now to say she want's a divorce. Lesson learnt, woman should stay in the kitchen and not be allowed on computers.

Went for an interview for an apprenticeship/internship/whatever you want to call it, i'm pretty sure i nailed it. Waiting to hear back from them since they've got a bunch more people to interview before they decide, but i did everything right and made a good impression. Then they'll teach me how to use lathes and shit and CNC machines, I must use this knowledge to benefit myself and IFAP and produce obscure gun parts. who wants an AR10?????
