Oh god I just noticed I broke 10k posts. Kind of strange how that coincided with me finally deciding to stop being a pussy and act on a crush.
Gundam W was really good if i remember right
What the hell is going on here? Don't bother asking where I was, it was too much fun.
Nation game is made if anyone else is interested http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1223438&p=38316744#post38316744
After nearly six years I've picked up my brushes and go painting Games Workshop space marines again.
CodeMonkey, have you ever heard of an anime called Armored Trooper VOTOMS? It's not really Generation Kill-esque, but it takes a much more plausible approach to mecha and sounds like it might be your thing. I tend to dislike typical mecha and anime in equal measure but I actually enjoyed it.
God damnit 08th MS Team is literally the best gundam ever created. There are so many reasons why. If you never watched it, watch it. It's basically like the Generation Kill of the Gundam universe. Regular pilots, not super special genetically altered teenager with SUPER ANGST piloting an ultra secret giant robot made of GUNDAMIAN ALLOY and flying at the edge of the sound barrier, absorbing and eating lasers like candy. Like, there were emotions, the characters felt fear and it reflected in their combat performance. The entire way the suits were set up made them believable. The fact that an MS Team was three suits and a fucking SUPPORT TRUCK. I mean, in a Gundam show the idea that MS's are not unstoppable self-sustaining killing machines was never an option. But they use a god damn hover tank to supplement their communications, navigation and so on. The suits have severe limitation. Mobility is one of them. They're costly to run, taking relatively short missions before having to be refit. For the times when they need to be in the field longer they're fitting with giant shipping containers on their back to hold spare guns, extra ammo, fuel and so on. Their beam sabers only last 1 minute once deployed from their charging holster because of how hot plasma has to burn. The gundams take some serious damage from the environment alone. They spend two days repairing and cleaning out their suits because sand got into some of the components during a mission in a desert, which is absolutely believable. When the suits get damaged they're repaired with parts from other suits meaning they have to mix and match all the time, just like most real armies have to do. They use specialized mission-specific equipment. Bazookas, Cannons, Missiles Launchers and Parachute packs. In one episode fucking rebel fighters are able to take one down with RPG's and grenade launchers. To add it all up it didn't have that disgustingly inaccurate art style like the original Gundam and it was actually a beautiful series. The fighting scenes are some of the best I ever saw. It felt tense when they were fighting in the city, suits hiding right behind some of the taller buildings, or held-up inside of hallowed out warehouses and what not, fighting was fast and desperate and didn't last too long. And to add that all together MS's aren't even the bulk of their army. It still relies heavily on Aircraft, tank and infantry.
Yes. Also, The Gouf Custom and GM Sniper in that series are fucking nuts. While less cool and realistic, I'd also highly recommend 0083 if you haven't watched it, and a friend of mine really likes Zeta and Double Zeta.
I don't get hangovers either. I got my cold air intake on my mazda today. Got some horseys under the car now :v:.
What Mazda do you have? I've got a Magnaflow and a KNN intake on mine.
I got my cold air intake on my mazda today. Got some horseys under the car now :v:.
the power gain is actually pretty negligible with a cold air, unless you went full out and replaced the flex piping i think MCM did a test with a CAI on an R33 or R34, the car actually lost like 4kw of power when compared to the regular factory intake but i'd still get cold air just because they make even NA cars sound cool :v
It's a full pipe system. Had to take the factory intake out since It was busted in like two places and making my car buck like a mule. Edit: I have a 03' protege5 mr. Mog.
My birthday gift from my uncle. A Stoeger 12ga SxS shotgun.
