But why does he want to keep cutting military budgets and make my job harder and harder to hold on to, no one I know really wants to get out yet more and more are being forced out for bullshit charges, lost some good senior e-4's that would of made great NCO's yet no one seems to care about that.

obviously people losing their jobs is a bad thing, but the amount of money dumped into the military in the US is a bit extreme. putting money into a better healthcare system or into infrastructure would still produce jobs and create a better standard of living at home.

Because our military budget is fucking hideous, we put way too much money into the military annually. Don't get me wrong, I'm really sorry about the jobs and all, and I even think I might enlist when I get out of school, but we could DEFINITELY be using that money for better things.

Well it's because we spend more than the next 12 highest countries' military budgets combined. The fact that you get less and less of that money has more to do with piss poor distribution by the DoD than the actual budget itself.

Sucks even more for me, that means 3 years of garrison, heads up if were not at war don't join the infantry garrison fucking sucks dick. At least I can get one deployment under my belt.
And yes I know that the money can be put to better things, but someone needs to sort out this budget it hits us hard they don't care about the soldier's anymore, I'm worried il get flagged on this pt test due to a shitty profile stopping me from upperbody strength the last 3 months.
