You all remember that Remington Mosin I posted the other day. Well I passed on it to buy that Garand (which ended up being a bad buy) and low and behold, the Mosin ends up being a super rare $1000+ rifle. FUCK

CAI rec is junk and off spec. No resale value, so I'm out the $350 it'll cost me for a CMP barreled rec. or $200 for CMP rec + armorers fee to have it barreled to my gun

Why? Is your H&R all matching WWII parts in immaculate condition or something? Because it seems most CMPs are running $500-$700 depending on condition

It actually is in really nice condition, strangely enough , with no dings or marks on the wood. I'm no historian and haven't really looked at the numbers, but it's the nicest/cleanest gun in our collection besides the mauser.
When we had the opportunity to buy it, we had to decide right there and then. No research or anything, because the next day the guy had a gun club coming over to buy out the rest of his collection. We even talked him down from his original price too, I think he wanted $1500. To take the sting away, he included a .50 BMG ammo box FULL of 30-06 (expensive as hell to buy in Cali) and another giant ziplock bag full of en blocs. I guess we paid retail for it.

ive recently got into watching pokemon again, from season 1 episode 1
there are 725 episodes this is gonna take a while, starting from the original pokemon to the new ones.
