I had a dream I was a marine fighting in africa, and for some reason I had an M1 carbine chambered in 7.62x39. I had a buddy who was a light machine gunner with an M249. We were pickin off skinnies left and right until one of them scuicide bombs with a grenade. It being a grenade I had time to run off, but my machine gunner buddy didnt make it very far and was hurt badly. It was like the internals of his ears came out externally then charred, like 2 black tumors sticking out of his ears. His face was bloody and he had the thousand yard stare. I tried walking him to the medic tents but he was starting to not be able to walk so I threw him over my shoulder and ran over as fast as I could
