I just modded a 5.56 stanag ALICE pouch. I unstitched the M67 grenade carriers, and unstitched the strap on the back for suspenders. Its super compact and nice looking now. I think the pouches look like shit unless theres grenades in the holders, IMO.

So first my grandmother starts actively dying about a week ago and then my grandpa (who I visited almost every day for the past few years) just had a stroke yesterday and they are now saying he probably wont make it and if he does it wont be the same because the stroke just accelerated his Alzheimers tremendously and he can barely talk and just barely recognizes me.......without a doubt the worst week of my life.
