Alright, quick question since I have almost no HDD space left.
If I get a 1TB external hard drive, what would I have to do to move all my Steam stuff over to it? Just copy-paste, or is there something special I have to do?

Pretty much copy paste as well as changing your steam save directory onto your external hard drive for downloading updates, but running games off an external hard drive normally results in lag due to transfer speeds. Check your current hard drive's speeds and search accordingly for the external drives. Alternatively, move music or other things onto the external.

I was pretty much gonna put music, games, pics, and other docs onto the drive since I may be getting a new computer in the future. Plus my current drive is only 250GB. Also I don't do much gaming on this craptop anyway.
external drives are only good for actually storing things, if you want to run games, don't put them on it.
I've pulled out my $7 copy of Amped 3 to pretend I've got snow outside. Snowboarding games are pretty fun and chill.
