I work part-time as an electrician and I get paid when I finish the job with my co-workers; usually lasts a week for a small job and for a big job around 2-4 weeks. Small jobs would be offices;small warehouses and big jobs would be like medium-large warehouses or various offices.
Thinking about enlisting for this summer. Alot of the guys in ROTC enlisted, then contracted so they could keep coming to college and not get deployed. They all say it's worth it.
What do you guys think?

I dunno, I kinda like the idea of peeling potatoes better.
I've got to euthanize my cat. He could have killed my Grandmother. She's a really old, really frail woman and my cat randomly flipped shit and attacked her with rabies-like aggression. Fucked her up really bad, fucked me up too and my Mom. This isn't the first time he's done it but if me and my Mom had left my Grandmother alone and the cat attacked her she could have been mauled to/near death so we can't keep him. She can't run, if she falls she's not getting up and she can't even push the cat away. Like we're talking a dozen super deep cuts, blood all over the floor, all over my grandmothers night gown, ripped a hole in my Mom's pants that she bled all over too, got me in the leg pretty bad so I had blood dripping all over the floor too. My Mom had to kick him away but he kept coming and I had to use my riot shield to keep him off my Grandmother and herd him into a room.
I also took placement tests at my community college. I guess I'm going to start taking classes or something I guess.

Cats are destructive motherfuckers when they go crazy, kittens especially are ridiculous.
My mother fosters cats now, and I get to be the lucky guy to catch and control the ferals and any of the cats that bother putting up a fight. Scars on my hands and arms up 200%, and a kitten nearly took out my eye while I was trying to wrap it in a towel. One day they're gonna manage to reach my face though. One day.

My old job I had to spend hours cutting hundreds of potatoes. It was the worst hell you could imagine....ever.....your hands got stick and shit and eventually they started cramping and if you dropped even one little tiny piece of potato on the floor the boss would go completely ape shit.
