Daily Life V6. "Drama, Cellular Devices, and the latest in military hardware" - General

I still don't know how anybody coaxed me into taking WHAP. I kinda find history ok, but at least in the past, my teachers never really made it engaging or honestly challenging. My US history teacher last year was a complete moron, and his idea of teaching was to go up in front of the class with a powerpoint taken off the internet, and to spout misconceptions and straight up falsehoods. His tests were also terribly written and usually involved "analysis" of political cartoons, which anybody with a basic understanding of logic and a pair of eyes can do. Reading the World History AP textbook so far, the material is quite easy to read, but maybe not that engaging. What really bums me out is that normally I read more challenging material and enjoy it, but for some reason once it becomes homework I lose all interest. also that was just my list of APs. I have Chinese and Physics as well.

I fucking failed when our class read the Oedipus Cycle last year in English 1A because I hated how I had to remember all the characters and shit because I'd be tested on it. Kinda weird, but it's like how people enjoy doing good deeds when others aren't looking. I enjoy reading more challenging material on my own time out of my own interests, but when I have to do it for school it just makes me lose interest.

no i mean, making retarded posters and shit. i don't want to take an (pre)ap english class because redundant work, but i fucking hate the shit normal english students do. creative writing is great for me. i start off serious but then realize what i'm doing and then it ends up in disaster

I love creative writing; I wrote a story about Waffen SS Panzer crews during the Battle of the Bulge in fourth grade and my teacher called my parents and told them I was a neo-nazi and had a meeting with them. Back then, my dad used to be a bro. He told the teacher something along the lines of "bitch he can't be a neo-nazi; he ain't even white" I don't even know what happened.

a couple years ago I wrote an essay about supporting the troops. My super mega extreme liberal (she is the kind of liberal that chains herself to trees that loggers are trying to cut down and she would also handcuff herself to Walmart doors and scream at people who tried to get in.) Anyway, this bitch of an English teacher gave me an "F" because the "content"(HER EXACT FUCKING WORDS TOO) and told me to choose a different topic to get a better grade. I basically told her to fuck off.

I really hate it when teachers force their views on you arbitrarily. While I can respect their views, my grade is actually important and giving me a shitty grade because I disagree is unprofessional. Actually, I don't like teachers that have a really casual attitude towards grades in general. My previous history teacher was a scumbag who would basically make up grades out of thin air, and had some really weird standards when it came to his rubrics. It was super obvious what he was looking for in essays wasn't at all related to the actual rubric he gave us, but was about sounding intelligent. The highest grade on the last essay of the year went to this essay that had like 30 citations, and very little analysis of the info contained inside. He actually made a huge fuckup and put a sentence about the dot com bubble inside a paragraph about the Great Depression and the teacher didn't see it at all.

for my english exam for my writing piece i wrote about a drug cartel who was high off of his tits and ended up shooting himself in the face and then it switches over to when a detective arrives at the scene it was really really really dark

I had a teacher sophmore year of highschool who told me to ANALYZE A STORY ABOUT A DOG FROM THE DOGS POINT OF VIEW. This was the first sentence of my analysis: "I outright refuse to do this assignment because it's goddamn idiotic, enjoy this short story instead." I got a B+ for a three page essay about two spies on a space station.

My creative writing assignment from my teacher had us make a story using a diary format surrounding this book around a post nuclear holocaust apocalypse, before the event, during the event, and after the event,(event = nuclear holocaust) that could potentially lead up to the book's storyline. I got a A for writing about various people instead of focusing on just a single person and give a short story for each person with different occupations and social backgrounds with a realistic approach to what they did and how they react to environment. tl;dr: I got an A for writing a story based on a nuclear holocaust

I'm going to try my best to grade my students fairly and not based on my views. Because in Canada they probably would come after you pretty hard if someone wrote a really well written essay about capitalism being the best economic system but the teacher gave it a bad grade because they're a socialist. I'm never going to do that.
