This one's for Catbarf mostly but anyone can answer. What's the best Nerf gun (doesn't jam, easy to modify air restrictor, etc)? My band director wants to do Nerf wars and stuff for some fun activities because he's awesome, and I'll probably end up convincing him to do some HvZ too.

Obviously the Nitefinder because of ease of crayola barreling it. It can't jam and reloads in under 2 secs.

for single shot nerf, a big bad bow with a 1/2" CPVC tube hammered in to the barrel. Older longshots for mag fed.

Get a long shot then, easiest to mod, easy to make really powerful, has a rail. Buy a nitefinder along with it, take the spring out and put it in the longshot. both springs will fit without binding. A shot from my longshot to the head can cause dizziness. Also if you look at the darts, theres a small hole in the tip. You can fit metal bb's in here for added weight to get a straighter flight and a bit more punch.
Oh my goodness Longshots are expensive. I'm assuming they're out of production?

Yeah, I was looking for one and they were like $80 for the whole gun. I found some for like $30 but they didn't have the front section.
