Fuck this cumbersome school shit. Goddamn. So I got a 69% in English first semester and D (unreleased %, probably bullshitted) in Chemistry second semester Sophomore year. Fine and dandy, whatever, I took English over the past 3 weeks, finished it, was pretty fun, cool teacher, etc etc. And so I moved on to Chemistry this week, having hated my teacher's completely boring methods during the entirety of my Sophomore year and real optimistic about correcting all the shit I had wrong in a not so bad subject ruined to me by a bad teacher. I come to school 6:30 AM, run 6 fucking miles for cross-country, go to the summer school office all tired, and find out they don't actually know what room I'm in. They just give me two room numbers right next to each other, so I just take the first one I find. I walk in, no teacher around, sit down, and in walks the smug motherfucker of a teacher I had all last year (who confirmed I was on his rolecall). I didn't even know getting the same fucking teacher was possible never mind acceptable. I should have just fucking walked out, marched down to the office, canceled that class, and gotten my moms' $250 back. But I didn't know then what I know now. And so gave it a chance and tried to use all that previous optimism. I found my eyes glazing over listening to him speak after all of 40 minutes, worsened by my discovery it was a full Chemistry semester class (for freshman who want to skip the class), and not just a review as my English was. Since nobody ever gets as low as 20%, and the full class over again would be redundant, there is a shortened and sped up review class, which this chem class was definitely not. We have a 5 minute break, I call my mom to e-mail my advisor about a teacher change after noticing the SS office was closed. And after that I didn't do anything but wait for the day to end. I hop in the car after 5 hours of shit to find more shit. The other class apparently had 4 more people than ours, and thus I couldn't switch over (despite the fact that I had two full science tables to myself currently), else all those minor inconveniences of [I]having to share a desk with 5 people instead of 4.[/I] So I just told my mom "fuck it, get a refund I'm not doing this shit with this shithead again." to find out that I had to have canceled the class, and get a refund, I had to have by 12:00, all of 1 hour prior to my getting in the car and leaving school. So there goes another huge chunk of my already small summer. Brb, gonna do my 70 problem homework (of which half have an A, B, C, sometimes through F sub-problems), more than I had in his class during a normal [B]two[/B] weeks during the normal year, nevermind the equivalent of 5 days. Also apparently neither Marine [B]SCIENCE[/B] nor Physiology are considered sciences, and if I took chem again over the year I'd probably kill someone.
