Namely because it's a skilful game. Going to go ahead and be that hipster fucking hated guy here. I've been playing DoTa since 2007 and back then it was great most of the communities were russian and it was a very skilled game, a similar attitude progressed into HoN and what not. DoTa 2 while having the same skilled gameplay has been opened to alot more people on the internet but still mostly enjoyable.

League being F2P from the get go just instantly attracted 50% of the current player base being 14 year old whingy kids and extremely illiterate and arrogant eastern Europeans and Russians who can't speak a word of English or just act like asshats for the sake of it. Having a skilled game that requires teamwork and communication and throwing in stupid people never works out well. It's just the kind of people who gravitate to a game like this, easier to pick up but once you get to max level you're still stuck with the same idiots.

Sorry to blot up daily with vidya.

I used to have this book and then my friends dog ate it.

Also just had my first day of just highschool classes. Drama is fucking chill because I've known the teacher since 6th grade and as a student aid I got appointed to the disciplinary office, so I have to go collect students the have to go to or avoided ISS and for the rest of the time I get to browse the web. Shits pretty chill.
