And they're still going. They're trying so hard to put some kind of limit on this easily abused bill, yet nothing is going to happen.

Sell USB drives with TOR on it via blackmarket.
Enough with the court room bullshit formalities and skip to the public crucifictions already.
I'm curious, what kind of reactions have you guys gotten when telling people about the bill in person? So far nobody that I've told has cared.

Whatever happened to that one man who was going to read a list of names of those who do not support the bill?

The King is dead. Long live the King.
I don't see how the replacement would be any better even if you "purge the current ranks". That's the tricky part, finding something that'll actually work. Not just shooting down the status quo and gambling the replacement won't be even worse.

Water boarded.
I'm going to bed. If this is the end of the internet, goodbye.
america is guna lose a lot of money through this, taking down sharing on facebook and other social media sites will lose so many potential buyers who may not have heard about it. if this does pass i expect Americas debt to go up an insane amount. hopfully the EU will say screw you to america and not help with this bill.

That is Ron Wyden, who has also proposed OPEN, a much more limited and fair approach to stopping piracy. This is just a hearing on the mockup of the bill, not the final vote. He's going to Filibuster the final vote, and that will be one of his tactics.

Nobody I've met thinks in big terms. So long as it doesn't immediately and visible cuts into their daily routine, they won't care.
