Someone confirm?
It's ironic because if SOPA passes anon will be down before they can even do anything

I reckon Moot's a bit more resourceful than that, he'll probably move it to another country and tell them to get fucked like TPB so often does.

4chan =/= Anonymous
Not even 4chan would be taken down, they don't host copyrighted content long enough for anyone to take notice, threads last a few hours at most and then they get deleted.

Except there are boards like /v/. Unofficial screenshots and links to gameplay videos is enough for a copyright infringement when/if SOPA comes into effect.
If this passes wouldn't Steam be subject to be taken down? (because of the Pictures you can upload to the community)

No they won't thats not how this will work.
Right gents, if you'd kindly refer to my post on the previous page, and if you're actually interested, the 2nd round of amendments will start at 10:00AM EST/GMT -5.
So did the whole thing pass?

Quite possibly. Chaffetz was hitting the nail on the head yesterday.
"You can't fault entire websites for the crimes of individuals." or something along those lines.
But of course the corrupt cunts in the payroll's of the entertainment industry just voted no without paying attention, and the chairman already makes up his mind on the issues going "The no's have it." without even looking up.

Calm down. You forget to check flagdog. He's not even in the US, why would someone from Europe need to know how the US Government works?
Anybody up for some kind of assault of anything supporting this piece of crap?
No i am not talking about violent assaults, just a way to undermine and crash theese pieces of shit.
There were so many posts with that list (including me) of Berman getting donated $1.5m~ more from than entertainment industry (his district lies right north of Hollywood) than all other members of Congress on his "Fan Page" on Facebook, and he deleted them all. Hah.

Well geez, now I feel like a dick thanks. Still though, the answer is on this page more than once.
I like how the government was set up with the impossibility of tyranny in mind, yet it's in such bad shape it'd be nearing the impossible to make any serious changes because of the naive voters.
So what were to happen (I have only a vague idea of how American politics works in the actual debating) if the guy opposing the bill, who, when given his turn to stand up and talk, point out that most of the people defending the bill have $1m+ in donations from the entertainment industry?
American politicians are selfish cunts. They don't stop and think of the wider, international implications that these laws have. They just care about the dollar. The fact that there hasn't been any sort of major uprisal with long lasting effects yet (OWS has been slandered and undermined since day 1) astounds me.
13 minutes, guys.
Issa made some highlights from yesterday.

Read the last page or two maybe
They need a fake palm tree.
In that room. To liven it up a little. The atmosphere needs a palm tree.
Is this really the only way to do it? Shees digital age people.
But then if all the judiciary comittees get a laptop the first thing they'll try to do with it is eat it.
Oh wow the stream is the most exciting thing, just look at the energy in the room!

It's just tradition. Along with the aye/nay. Thankfully if anyone requests a recorded vote it must be done.
