I got AP Psych, US History, Bio and Comp.... Pretty sure I'm gonna fail Bio... :(
Bio is a bit worrying to be sure. All those damn hormones.
Bio is a bit worrying to be sure. All those damn hormones.
Taking the practice test earlier for Bio gave me hope though, I got like a 61/100 which is like a 3 on the multiple choice. I just need to worry about those 4 FRQs... Last year I took AP Euro and I got a 4. I could have gotten a 5 if I didn't bomb one of the FRQs. I think discussing the wrong war might have docked me a few points :v:
You are probably exaggerating the issue to yourself. To get a 1/5 is a TREMENDOUS failure, one on the level that it must take effort for someone with half a brain to screw up so bad.
I drew penises all over my AP chemistry free response and spent literally 3/4ths of the FR answering time filling in the entire cover sheet in black with my #2 pencil, before writing "FUCK COLLEGEBOARD" in block letters and writing "SMEGMA" across 6 pages, and I got a 3/5 on the test, so if anyone manages to get less than that, well...

I rocked AP bio. Learn your latin roots boys! You'll be able to figger out ALL the chemicals.
Why is everyone in this thread going to have a hard time with AP Music Theory? It's an easy 5 for me. Chemistry I have a good chance of passing, and Calc AB I gotta study up on. Anyway, we should actually study in this thread instead of listing off the classes.
People with AP chem, I need help calculating different equilibrium constants (such as Ka, Kb, Ksp) if anyone would be so kind as to explain a bit. Googling it complicates things a lot.
Motherfuckers how do you all get 5's? What are your secrets
Ride the curve, piece of cake. My BC Calc test involved me writing a paragraph on a free-response problem that went something like "Hey dude I would totally know how to do this if I remembered that silly LaGrange remainder formula but I don't so I'm sorry, ok?" Also to everyone who has Physics C classes at their school, I am jealous of you. My school was the first and only in the district to have Physics B and that didn't count for calculus based physics credit even though it's barely any different. I had to waste a semester on a class I had already taken because there were no calculus based definitions of some equations.
Wish all my AP humanities classes counted for something in college. At least my AP Bio credit put me a little bit ahead.

I need to review cell communication and basically everything cells and plants. Everything else I'm adquate in. But I'm gonna worry about Psych and US first as they're next week!!
I took 2 two AP classes in my senior year of high school. It was the first time I ever took an AP course and I made the mistake of doing them in my fucking SENIOR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL. I failed both the tests. :(
I was part of an experimental AP U.S. Government course my sophomore year. We were the first ever sophomore class at my high school to take that course. I got a 2.
Taking U.S. History next week, expecting to fail horribly :D [editline]5th May 2012[/editline] Seriously US History is the worst possible AP class to take mainly because it's not really US History it's all politics and judicial branches and other bullshit that nobody cares about. i was hoping that we would delve more into civil reforms and the likes but instead we got into presidencies and secreataries and fucking shit that i don't even remember
Is anyone here part of the IB program? Its similar to AP but more of an international sort've thing. Hard to explain it.
Took AP Bio last year, ended in me throwing a fetal pig kidney at a guy, teacher did nothing. The teacher kept assorted cat heads around the classroom, left them in people's seat as a joke, and assorted other shenanigans. He was a good teacher though, 74% pass rate, I ended up getting a four on the exam. In retrospect that entire class was a joke.
AP US and i couldnt take the class
I plan on taking AP Global and during Junior year all the AP classes I can take.
A close friend of mine is in AP Government, I don't know how hard it is, but I try to relax her when she has tests and FRQs. We're both Sophomores, but she's the top of that class filled with Juniors, she's really into the government.
Back in high school I did AP Macroeconomics, AP US History, and AP Government. To make a long story short, it was ok but I bombed the exams.

Goddamn AP Chemistry, I can't remember the soichiometry equations.
I've got Literature this coming Thursday, as well as Biology and US Government next week. Going to absolutely shit the bed on Biology, considering I looked at College Board's breakdown of the exam and my teacher chose not to teach approximately 50% of the material. Hardly going to review for Government, and not reviewing at all for Literature because it is essentially a reading comprehension and writing skills exam.
I'm lined up to take AP English Lit and AP US history next week. Honestly, I'm not really that nervous about the US history one, since it's one of my favorite subjects and I've done really well on all of the AP stuff the class has done (sample essays, multiple choice, etc.) My big concern is with AP Lit. For some reason the concept of writing an essay on those subjects is really difficult for me. I think some practice essays will help, but do you guys have any advice on the AP Lit essays?

I mean that for real, it is a piss easy exam.
I'm just gonna watch all 12 episodes of "America: The Story of Us" for review for APUSH.

Quality of writing will carry you further than quantity of information has been my observation.
I'm taking AP US History next year, and apparently in my school Honors English for Juniors is harder than AP English.
I'd love one
For all my AP Comp Sci A homies out there, http://darkespadon.net/secure/Ges532cv/apcs_study_sheet.pdf Enjoy a cram sheet.
Eh, I'm in AP gov't right now, it's not too terribly bad. Just get ready to memorize the entire constitution. Also I was in an argument in that class and tried to convince congress wasn't real. People presented evidence, my argument was somewhere along the lines of "have you ever SEEN CONGRESS?" One again this shit was jokes. It seems like all of my AP teachers throughout the years have had very little control of their classes. Also we made SO many abortion jokes, shit was great.
