Taking AP World next friday, was a lazy fucker last year so I signed up for bs classes only to realize how easy school really is, wish I would've taken more APs. Doing the IB next two years to compensate.
Well, I have my class vocab final tomorrow. 287 words for World History, from chapters 1-36. Sounds easy until you realise there is no bloody word bank. I get 80-90%'s on my vocab, but thats when I make logical guesses. So tomorrow will be interesting Also, any tips for AP Physics? Im taking it next year but I am only in Trig now and Advanced PreCalc next year
im PUMPED for bc calc tomorrow
Would it have been worth it to take AP history courses? I don't think I'm really going to major in something history related but I just took APUSH, AP Euro, and AP US Gov over the years and all it was just a lot of notes.

I'm taking AP World next year just cause I enjoy history and the history department at my school have the coolest teacher. I made a bet with my APUSH teacher that if me and my friend don't get a 5 on the test, we'll take her out to a steak dinner.
Ah fuck I didn't study enough for AP Calc. Anybody else staying up a little to study?
Ah fuck I didn't study enough for AP Calc. Anybody else staying up a little to study?
Alternatively, you could sleep early tonight and have a clearer mind tomorrow for the exam.
AP classes that have nothing to do with your major are the best ones to take because core subjects are covered more thoroughly in the university level and it can still be helpful to take them. GE classes are just plain useless and you want to get out of as many of those as possible. I passed AP Bio, Gov, US history, and Lit. A word of caution, some universities require an additional test from the university to get credit for AP Gov. (but it was piss easy)
AP World History exam next week. Essays are going to kill me, the only one's we've practiced in-class are the Document Based Questions. We haven't even gone over compare-and-contrast or the change-over-time essays.
Calc AB test anyone? It was easier than I expected.
All AP courses for the next 2 years!
bc calc wasn't so bad except for the length jesus christ that took all day
Calc AB test anyone? It was easier than I expected.
I was just as difficult as I expected, which was pretty difficult. There were a lot of questions that I was impressed that I got an answer and confident that it was right. However I didn't finish the multiple choice so I don't know how well I scored in the end. Most likely a 3. [editline]9th May 2012[/editline] Also lol @ the reactions on the AP Chem exam... http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/repository/ap12_frq_chemistry.pdf

I highly recommend you buy it, it's quite a good read and goes over the various forms of essays. It also includes practice tests
they said we would see our scores in the mail during the third week of july are they online any earlier than that?
they said we would see our scores in the mail during the third week of july are they online any earlier than that?
If you pass by your teacher any time before then, they should have your score before you get yours in the mail. But you can't personally check online provided they didn't change that since '10
bc calc wasn't so bad except for the length jesus christ that took all day
agreed it was pretty easy (plus a 5 is only like 60% right?)
oh god ancient history monday, its all sources and i don't know them
agreed it was pretty easy (plus a 5 is only like 60% right?)
last year it was 66 I got a 78 on last years test though [editline]9th May 2012[/editline]
If you pass by your teacher any time before then, they should have your score before you get yours in the mail. I am kind of shitting bricks here, i have the AP World History exam next week, and I am just scared as fuck because it would be a year long class wasted if i don't pass it. So answer me this question facepunch, I have had about 78-85 grade throughout the year and on top of that I am going to hour long review sessions every Friday afternoon for about 3 week now along with morning review every now and again, so do you think i am doing well enough to pass it with at least a 3?
i fucked up with my address when taking the ap cs exam, my address and zipcode are completely wrong is there a way for me to change it?
[editline]9th May 2012[/editline] uh AP scores aren't done by the teacher, how would that work
They get them online IIRC. But we have no access to that.
i don't know, it really doesn't seem like there's any way to get them until july, I've been looking around that's annoying because the college I'm going to has class registrations in june
Is anybody else watching C-SPAN's "Cram for the Exam" for AP Government on Saturday? My teacher said that it helps a lot, but I'm interested in what you guys have to say.
My school only offers 3 AP course lol.

A 3 for AP Calc is 17/44 MC and 3/9 average per FRQ. I'd be pretty upset if I didn't get that.
Anyone take AP Physics B? How bad is it and what is the course load?
