Yeah. I wouldn't like to see any gold-member getting any moderation privaledges. It would be horrible. But to be honest I would like to see Gold Members Forum someday.

There should be a Respected Gold Member, which could have powers. This status is only given to goldmembers who don't shitpost and can handle the power.

Kritocracy being a government ruled by judges. There was more democracy when users voted for modships, but Hezzy has reformatted it where you must send him an application for it, and he will deem you dependable or not. So the ruling class of Facepunch have absolute power, and only appoint their own. Of course, Garry is always sole king, but he is a lenient ruler, only rarely giving bans.

Giving goldmembers is a bad idea to be honest, there are too many of them and it would get rediculous, if there were less i.e 100 or so (before you had to have high posts/ be on a long time to get it) It would be much more acceptable, plus, goldmembers don't need to ban because moderators already deal with all the people who need a good banning. Some of you may disagree, but this is just my opinion.

When everyone knew you could get auto gold, everyone rushed their asses to get to 2000 posts. People with some sense really didn't give a fuck.

Just get a shitload more of mods and that's what you have.

Althought it's not really a good idea, I think it wouldn't be as awful as it seems. There would be a short period of complete chaos where goldies would randomly ban people, which would result in them getting permabanned for being idiots. In the end, it would result in a gold member specific idiot cull. But with much more work for the admins and the actual moderators. To be honest, if gold members could really ban people, I wouldn't even do that, always afraid of doing something wrong here. :downs:

This isn't going to happen for multiple reasons. 6 pages of gold hate is a bit redundant.
