I believe that the issues with prop 19, if they were found to be legitimate issues, would be taken care of. The part about only being able to have an ounce on you makes sense to me because it ensures that only qualified people are going to be dealing mass quantities.
But who gives a fuck if california has a crappy bill, excl. californians . it would indeed get the ball rolling for other states and countries which would most likely adapt their own (hopefully better) bills. Couldn't they have just taken one for the team?? JUST THIS ONCE???

i'd rather not, and how the fuck does everyone "know" that it will get the ball rolling for other states? how do you know you won't face bloodthirsty old school motherfuckers in the process?
this is an uphill battle that's being fought
well, you are right in that no one's sure that it would indeed, GET DA BALL ROLLING.
-You can't really use know in quotation marks anyhow since like, i didn't say know, dunno about anyone else. - irrelevant but useful
But i think it's much more likely that if others saw that it could be THAT easy to get weed legalized (evidently not however) and that the world DIDN'T end (although we can't justify this yet, thank you california) as soon as the legal tokes incurred, then they would be all like "Wowzahs it's not that bad afterall!!! and it's so easy to get legalized!! I KNOW WHAT I'M GONNA VOTE IN FAVOUR OF!!!". But that's just what I felt would happen, i'm not exactly a social scientist though.
Californias medical laws did get the ball rolling, but other states MMJ laws are much more restrictive. Also AZ MMJ is now ahead by 4000 votes.
