I always assumed they trap heat like crazy. I dislike black gear's is all, no military uses stuff like that. It looks odd imo outside of say a law enforcement loadout. Plus it gets hotter than other colors, and doesn't blend in with anything.

That's about it for military units using black though.

It's very adjustable to any size. All In all, I like It.
