Anyone else se Kim Jong's Comedy Club on BBC 4?
Here is a North Korean child group. Only the most wealthy and elite of North Koreaners can attend school. The rest of the population works in the fields.
A quote from the Wikipaedia:
In 1959 "state-financed universal education" was introduced in all schools; not only instruction and educational facilities, but also textbooks, uniforms, and room and board are provided to students without charge. By 1967 nine years of education became compulsory.
I don't think you read anything about North Korea. The inarticulate dreck in your little monologue just sounds like a bunch of recycled trash picked up from forum posts.
Anyone else se Kim Jong's Comedy Club on BBC 4?
I watched half an hour of one episode then went asleep. Seems quite a good insight into NK
A quote from the Wikipaedia: I don't think you read anything about North Korea. I think it's still only a majority of children can attend school, not everyone does. That shit could still be happening, but the thing is we really can't say if it is or isn't since barely anyone can get in or out of NK.

North Korea has a 99% literacy rate[CIA world factbook] and nearly every child attends school. Wake up and stop wanting to believe this dunce so badly.
How is it possible that the average North Koreaner earns $2 USD per month then
It's not possible, because it's not true. Did you know the word "gullible" isn't in the dictionary? Look it up.

Look it up.
So I am supposed to not listen to the the one "Dunce" but rather listen to you while you forcibly shove what you read down our throats? I never said I believed him in the first place, I am saying while some of that is true, they could very well still have that going on, the fact of the matter is it is hard to really find out the truth because as I have stated, it is very hard for people to go in or out of NK. It's really hard to distinguish what really happens there. Although I will have to say that most of what the OP does say seems to come from an outdated (or well, it did happen like that AGES ago, but not anymore) it doesn't mean it is true. Also no, while I do trust Wikipedia somewhat, I don''t trust them 100% since anyone can put whatever garbage they want to put up on there and hope someone is gullible enough to read it and believe it.
Well; Most North Koreans are pretty happy. It's the biggest brainwash ever .the North Koreans that attend school are living in their own world. They get taught that the rest of the world is worse than NK. With nothing to compare their own country to they all think it's the best life can offer. Only the most important nembers know that the soviet union fell and everyone else thinks they're the world's number one country. Nobody knows that basically the whole world hates them. It's officially listed that Kim Jong il is some sort of god whose birth was anounced by a gigantic leviathan that arose from the sea.

Do you realise the Wiki articles about nations are some of the most well-groomed and heavily monitored pages on the site?
True communism doesn't have a leader or a government. It's pretty hard to be a dictatorship without a leader.
correct. Communism is all about the people working as a whole as a commune. a communistic country would have the people vote on what they want to produce for the year, and how much of it. the good thing about it is that shit gets done, and it gets done quickly. want to research the cure for cancer? blamo, the whole country is now working as a whole to find the cure (if they vote for it). in a way, it's more democratic than the us's system (everyone gets a vote rather than electing one person to vote for you).
We should upload this to http://www.naenara.kp/en/
That website is so full of shit, it's amazing.
I suppose "anyone" can write whatever garbage they want on the CIA world factbook too.
yes anyone can write whatever they want on the CIA website
North Korea looks like some city I made in Sim City 4 and cut the power and water and all the buildings get dilapidated and shit.
Why is there no thread. Great leader of People's Republic of North Korea must be honored.
rule 34 on Our Great Leader please
rule 34 on Our Great Leader please
*Vomits*
Schools in NK, aren't the same as schools in the US or UK.
I do want to visit in my Lifetime. I wonder how the people would act if they were liberated by a first world country.
A lot of them, if not all of them, truly believe that Kim is the only person preventing them from being wiped out by American Imperialism. A "liberation" of North Korea wouldn't be possible.
Add this.
ive always wondered is this shopped?
Some things not in the OP. Although the Korean People's Army is nominally the fourth largest in the world, there's no way they could afford to go to war with any large country. Although, as you said, everyone is poor, the state does provide free healthcare, housing, education and food rations. They also don't have to pay taxes because of their planned economy; when the government needs money they just whip some up out of thin air. The only other country in the world with an economy as strictly controlled by the government as this is Cuba.
Well that's still fucked up. They exploit their people out of everything and then they give them "free health care". That's like taking the money from a beggar and giving him back a penny as a "mild offering" [editline]07:08PM[/editline]
A quote from the Wikipaedia: I don't think you read anything about North Korea. The inarticulate dreck in your little monologue just sounds like a bunch of recycled trash picked up from forum posts.
The Government providing everything for free "for all students" doesn't mean shit when you are so poor you need your kid to work in the fields/the factory.
The build a dam near china to show off their engineering skills. The same dam caused all their rice fields and farms to flood and cause the current food shortage. Pyongyang has a Metro! It only works when there are visitors in the country and only has 2 nice stations on which guests may travel (the rest are 1.7 meter high concrete tunnels with no lighting) As a guest you stay in a hotel where only 1 floor has rooms. This is to show off their massive hotel 20floor hotel (with 10 rooms) They paint only 1 side of the buildings (because guests wont see the backside annyway) When you eat at a restaurant all the tables get layed out with food while you are the only guest. This is to show the world they don't have a food shortage.
It's pretty laughable how the propaganda still tries to claim North Korea is a "democratic people's republic". I knew there was a dictator in charge keeping his people down but I'd never have thought it was so broken down as a nation.
Some of the OP isn't true, but fuck you can't really even tell anymore. All I know is that NK is a royal shithole.
I feel like I want to venture into those empty apartments, literally all of them.
I feel like I want to venture into those empty apartments, literally all of them.
I would love to go there with my camera and just go to town taking all sorts of pictures, imagine what you could portray in them.

Their greatest military achievement was the capture of an American vessel which contained 60 troops, greatest victory make greatest country of North Korea!
