I saw a documentary on North Korea, but you aren't allowed to bring cameras, phones, laptops, ANYTHING that you could tell the outside world about NK with. They accomplished this by hiding cameras with a doctor's medical tools (Their reason for going was to help people who were blind or had bad eyesight see again.) What they do show (the Koreans) is basically empty buildings etc. that make the country look good but when you see it for how it really is its horrible. The buildings on the border of China and South Korea are completely empty, "stylish" buildings. No citizen is allowed to contact the outside world. Fleeing from the country can result in your death if you are found or the death of your family. Not only that but the country is surrounded by electric fences and mine fields. When the doctor healed the people's eyes they stood up and praised their leader promising to grab a gun and kill every American on earth (awkward for the American journalist in the same room) and they also sing songs to their children about killing Americans. I really wonder what the fuck is going on in there.
I saw that, yeah it's pretty much fucked up there.
I remember watching a documentary about the lives of families who get the privilege to live in Pyongyang. It reminded me a lot of Half-Life 2.
The countryside is, apparently, the real hellhole of North Korea. From what I saw, they also hate the west. I recall one scene where this family was eating dinner, and the power went out. They blamed the Americans for it.

The one thing I love about North Korea are their olympics. Have you guys ever seen the shows they put on for that stuff? It's really crazy.
That girl, Pun Yun Shi, in the VBS documentary.
I feel so sad for her. :(
Well that's good because South Korea wants to bomb us.
I'm sorry that I have to quote this from 2 pages ago, but this is the most ignorant thing I have ever read relating North Korea to South Korea.

GREAT STORMS ALWAYS HAPPEN

The text, last I checked, is kinda' retarded, but the pictures are epic for the most part.

That's photoshopped. If you take out the yankee photoshoppery, you will see that South Korea is the half that is in darkness. The little bright spot you see in SK is possible due to North Korean aid.
:v:
-snip-
Did you know that there is a law in NK, that if you leave a magazine with a pic of The Great Leader on the floor or throw it away, you are going to jail!
North Korea is a good example of generation killing by propaganda.
But it's rather fun to me how close minded sheeps think that what there is in most of the First World countries is the best political system.
What most of the people think of as democracy is just an illusion. You get to chose from a few pre-selected people.
Opinions are also forced through mainstream media propaganda.
In capitalistic system there's a lot of division between people. Some don't work at all and got all their money from their rich families, while others work hard and hardly get enough money to feed themselves. People weren't born richer or poorer, they were born as human beings.
People are relatively free in most of the First World countries, but their minds aren't.
It sounds like you need to go back to some dumb conspiracy site.

It's a helluva lot better than living in North Korea. And don't act like capitalism is rigged so the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Anyone can become the next billionaire if they just put their time and effort into it. Hell the guy who does our lawn is a Mexican immigrant, and he made 300,000 dollars last year. He's living the "American Dream" because hes willing to put his back into it and mow some lazy Americans lawns.
It is relatively, but I don't know whose minds are more enslaved.
Considering we don't have a single Propaganda TV channel, and daily roaming blackouts that we blame on imperialists, I would say they are.
We have tenths of propaganda channels.
A good example of it in action are 9/11 events being directly linked to Iraq war by most of the US population.
Let me rephrase that. We don't have a tv, with ONE Channel on it. That channel being pure propaganda. Propaganda like, "OUR DEAR FEARLESS LEADER WILL CRUSH THE IMPERIALISTIC AMERICANS THAT CAUSE OUR POWER BLIGHT EACH DAY." looped over and over.
If your dumb enough to be a sheep then that's not my problem. At least you don't get put to death for speaking out against your Government. Hell I could legally take a shit on a picture of Obama and complain how shitty he is because hes covered in my shit and they can't do anything to me. In North Korea if you so much as throw away the Dear Leaders photo you to to prison camp and your never heard from again.

Not really.
Also, you're using the word "tenth" wrong.

The great leader must be a shit eating dyke, cause that motherfucker don't have no dick.
See, I can say that, and not get arrested. That's free enough for me.

Yeah, if you're a stupid redneck fucktard. Luckily, I'm not, and I'm not because I have access to information through multiple sources.
I'm plenty goddamn free.

That's the ignorance of the populace for believing everything the Government says. I've been trying to remember a quote from Thomas Jefferson, I think it's "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and never will be."
I don't act like something, I say what I mean.

Cause it works fine for me. I mean, we can make it better, but it ain't broken.

Yes, yes. The American populace is nothing but blind sheep, and you're the only one who sees through the corporate media's lies. How very quaint.
The US should have beaten them back in the 50's, this wouldn't be a problem if we had. Fucking Chinese.
TVs don't 'have' channels.
Our population is more hoplessly enslaved then theirs.

Where do you live, China?
My TV has over 400 channels. Most of them are shite, agreed, but the point remains.
That's because you're a banker with a megalomaniacal streak. A nation can be controled in a lot of ways, ours is pretty fucking free on the list of nations.
Also, lol at your second comment.
'FUCK THE PRESIDENT WITH AN IRON ROD ANARCHY IS GOOD FUCK THE MACHINE.
And you hear that? That's the sound of me not being arrested.

Man, bravado is stupid as hell, but it's just so fun.
I feel like diving into North Korea and fighting off their entire military Commando style. I mean, in reality I'd be stuck like a pig instantly, but it just seems like such a good idea in my head.

Is David Rockefeller brainwashing people into loving him and revering him as God?
No?
Then power to him. Sort of.
