his last one was okay, not his best. Really loving Janelle Monae's record and eager to hear the new Wussy and Bill Callahan..

Just properly listened to The Reign of Kindo's new album. Probably one of my main contenders for AOTY now.
[editline]26th September 2013[/editline] I like the new Bill Callahan quite a lot, possibly better than the previous one.
For the past couple of days I've been checking out some Sacred Bones Records albums from this year. I've found some good stuff. Destruction Unit - Deep Trip Psych-Rock, Noise-Rock, Punk music that's played with some intimidating power. Sounds like an ego-form drug demon escaping a prison of sobriety and reveling in it as he fills your skull with flashing smoke and thunderstorms. One of my favorites from this year. Pharmakon - Abandon Reminds me a lot of early Swans. It's a power-electronics, ambient, noise project headed by woman with a hideous fucking growl. Psychic Ills - One Track Mind Relaxed, spacey rock music that reminds me a lot of Spiritualized and BRMC. Some of these songs just straight up sound like J Spaceman songs. It's pretty rad.
Tollund Men - Virbius Abstract Noisy Post-Punk/Synthpop. Can't help but think of a noisy Joy Division or something like that. Wulkanaz - Paúrpura Fræovíbôkôs Black Metal. Lo-fi ritualistic Black Metal with a bit of a punky and folkish deal going. One of my favorite releases this year. I like pretty much everything this guy makes.
So light in the attic has started reissuing some of the old lee hazelwood industries records hint they are great omg this is amazing
new marijuana deathsquads is solid
why is Lady Gaga calling her record art pop when it isn't?
trying to look pretentious and artsy I guess
nothing wrong with being pretentious and artsy but she's not even remotely an art pop artist at all. She dresses flamboyantly but her music is just dance/synth pop music.. nothing more. there's no correlation with anything she does musically, makes no sense... new M.I.A. is dynamite ;)
I think the album art for Art Pop is cool. But I agree with your sentiment, AK'z.
New autechre has been released, EP containing some companion tracks to Exai
new M.I.A. is dynamite ;)
Matangi is killin' it. The Boom skit takes no prisoners. The production on Sexodus is killer as well.

ARTPOP honestly sounds like she recycled her previous work but added more Korg. Nothing really noteworthy.
