diy emo stuff can often be super fun (srs)
randomly came across this really solid trip-hop/downtempo album
Light Bearer dropped a new album last week. http://lightbearer.bandcamp.com/album/silver-tongue-2 It's free, and it's some of the best post-metal I've heard in a while. I haven't heard much else from this year yet but it's no stretch to say that this will probably be a strong contender for my aoty.
Haven't heard that Light Bearer album yet but if it's anything like Lapsus I'm super hyped

[img_thumb]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/34/65/3465056127-1.jpg[/img_thumb] I Do Not Love has a new rarities compilation out. http://beko.bandcamp.com/album/i-do-not-love-four-years-free-download
One of my biggest anticipations for this year, 'Amends' by The Fall Of Every Season, is out and can be found on spotify! If you like doom metal, this is a must!
New Frightened Rabbit is good, but I still miss the raw midnight organ fight feel. It's bigger now. But bigger in a good way, not in a King of Leon everything sounds the same way.
2 new Njiqahdda releases and 1 Oaks of Bethel release this year so far. Pretty good stuff. Also looking forward to the new Wardruna album, glad it's not dead.
In case you like Cascadian BM, Wild's Reprisal has released a new album called 'Defiance Enthroned'. It's Name-your price and well worth a listen!

anyone heard that Amok album? [editline]22nd February 2013[/editline] expected a shitload to jump on a thom yorke fronted project.
it's in my playlist, gonna check it out later albums i dig so far: Brave Bird - Maybe You, No One Else Worth It Autechre - Exai Keaton Henson - Birthdays Giles Corey - Hinterkaifeck
Amok is pretty cool but it still sounds like The Eraser 2. I get a Thom's Laptop vibe from it but it's better than The Eraser and is still a good album, just a little shallow seeming.
Been planning to get around to it, as soon as I've finished listening to the stuff I missed last year
anyone heard that Amok album? [editline]22nd February 2013[/editline] expected a shitload to jump on a thom yorke fronted project.
It's not out yet but it did get streamed I really like it, I've got it preordered and I think it's really really good. Very dancey.

Yeah I got Eraser vibes from Amok too, you can tell lots of the creativity came from Thom.
Yeah seemed to me like the others either had no creative input allowed or just didn't ever show up to recording. its a Thom Yorke Nigel Godrich collab basically
Yeah I got Eraser vibes from Amok too, you can tell lots of the creativity came from Thom.
Well it's pretty much The Eraser with a band, though I don't know how much input the rest of the band had besides Thom/Nigel. "Before Your Very Eyes..." and "Dropped" were my favorites from the stream, can't wait to get my hands on the album.
i've just listened to the album, really enjoyed it.
I knew nothing about this until recently so I kind of freaked when I saw what the band consisted of Got it queued up as soon as I finish the last track on this album, excited
its just a thom yorke solo album but instead he doesnt play everything himself
