Nanobots, the new They Might Be Giants album, is pretty good.
I was kind of iffy about it at first, but it's grown on me. The songs are really catchy, and there's some really clever wordplay.
It's very much a combination of Apollo 18 and Join Us.
The new album from The Dear Hunter is just a couple of weeks away. Pre release 'singles' if you can call them that 'Whisper' and 'An Escape' are out on youtube for a taster.
I'm also looking forward to the new QOTSA stuff.
The Strokes' new album got leaked.
Megadeth is done recording for their newest album which is soon to release.
New Daft Punk album incoming.

nah it's coherent, it's just insane
like info wars
ok maybe a bit more coherent than info wars, but it's basically the same shit except he doesn't accuse the jews of poisoning water with mind control fluoride or something
new bonobo album is good
new strokes album, on the other hand, is straight shit
Kind of expected
Kind of expected
yeah I only listened to it out of curiosity, but damn, how did they get this shitty
I like the new strokes. But I really fucking love the strokes. I enjoyed it, listened to it twice today.
Currently on my second listen of Muchacho by Phosphorescent. Really good. Pretty chilled, nice and lush.
if you haven't heard, new Megadeth album coming
http://www.metalsucks.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Megadeth-Supercollider.jpg
According to Antimusic.com, the below image is a leaked version of the cover for Megadeth’s new album, Supercollider. Amazingly enough, it’s even more boring than the cover for TH1RT3EN, and, once again, does not feature Vic Rattlehead. Although in his defense, I did hear that Vic has refused to work with Dave Mustaine ever since he completely lost his shit and started accusing President Obama of staging slavery so that African-Americans could have affirmative action.
oh I love you metalsucks

New record by The Fall is out on May the 13th.
It's reassuring to know that Smith himself hates the last record they did, it's reason enough to hope that the new one will be more worthwhile.
god damn why is everything Sacred Bones-related so fucking good
listening to the newest Grouper record.
I've listened to a lot of ethereal music and this is very singular and dreary it's unbelievable.
[editline]12th April 2013[/editline]
is it worth me going back to hear another album of hers because there's a lot of people I know who dig her music.
[editline]12th April 2013[/editline]
it's literally one of those records that stays on a line. It is kind of depressive, but not for me I'm afraid, shame since I really thought I'd be with this one. Maybe next time.

Dragging Deer Up A Hill is definitely worth listening to. Her 2013 record is a b-sides collection or something so it's pretty different.
See her live if you can. It puts her music into perspective.
It's just I've been listening to a lot of ethereal/darkwave things this year and this just felt very dim for me. It's probably one where later in the year when I'm in the right state of mind, I'll be able to see it.
