This thread reads just like the youtube comments, what is going on?
*takes off fedora and zips katana* That's when you seize the opportunity to disarm the assailant, and proceed to dismantle the gun in a split second Boss MGS3 style. The assailant won't know what to do, because you'll have moved so quickly in such a small time span that he will be caught totally off guard by the time he realizes you've taken apart his firearm and thrown it to the side. At this point you go in to break his arms and throw him to the ground, incapacitating him completely. *waves trenchoat and puts on fedora* Trust me, I took several self defense courses from an SAS handbook. This is real stuff.
ironic shitposting is still shitposting
I had that happen to me back in February when the store I worked at was being robbed. I didn't have my wallet on me and the kids didn't believe me.
Why the hell are there people bitching about the guy trying to stop the shooter. If the damn shooter killed the guy, all you people would've complained that he should have done something.
holy fuck that was awful thank god for shit guns
Same thing happened to my classmate years ago, but my classmate was the one holding the gun he killed a man, ordered by a gang, whole thing was caught on camera with him trying fix his jammed gun after firing one shot at guy The only difference is the guy he shot didn't make it, I really hope this guy makes it

So who's the woman he's taking with him at the beginning?
Holy shit imagine staring down the barrel of a gun like that, knowing that any moment a bullet will end you before you even have a chance to realize you've been killed. fuck
How would you know that you won't know, or won't have a chance to realize, that you've been killed by a gunshot wound to the head? Just the tec-9, nothing bigger. [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] Because I think you will know it, and feel it, for about few seconds up to a minute even, depending how badly and where in the head you were hit, and how small the round was. [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] Then again never mind.. watching a human trying to kill another on Youtube is terrible enough. Yeah, let's become fucking lizards, why won't we?
The people in this thread calling the guy a dumbass for trying to stop a robber, fucking hell.

Whoa, okay then.
holy fuck that was awful thank god for shit guns
I wonder how efficient it would be if a nation rendered firearms completely illegal and also flooded the black market with fucking trash constantly jamming shit weapons that never fire properly with just as many faulty bullets and otherwise shitty equipment. Like if you want to buy a guy off the black market you have a 50% chance of getting the shittiest weapon you've ever seen in your life :v:
Your friend murdered some person? Whoa, okay then.
Yeah he was in this gang and they told him to kill another man, I guess the man he was told to kill was kind of a big deal The whole process of him shooting through the window with his pistol and then trying to fix his jammed gun earned him several years, I don't think I'll see him in at least thirty years It was a few years ago, he was only 15 years old

The guy shot was a med student too, it's fucked up that it happened to him but I'm glad he's improving, and also glad the guy who shot him was caught and arrested.
So who's the woman he's taking with him at the beginning?
I bet you'd like to know
The people in this thread calling the guy a dumbass for trying to stop a robber, fucking hell.
I think what they, or Sharker at least, is that trying to be a hero is not generally a good idea when there is an armed robbery happening. Yes, it's good that he stopped the robbery, but let's not forget that if the gun didn't jam twice, he would have been dead. When people say "don't be a hero", it's because, as studies have shown, it augments the chance of serious injury.
Yeah, going unarmed against an armed criminal will generally only make things worse. The guy who was shot might not have even seen the gun until it was too late though.

There is a difference between being alive for seconds to up to a minute and being awake and aware for that long. Brain can easily be disturbed enough to shut down (think how common concussions are in contact sports) and a piece of metal travelling over the speed of sound hitting your skull is definitely enough in almost all cases to affect awareness.

But your brain doesn't just shut down completely, it never really wants to, much less in the case of common concussions? I mean yeah, you lose consciousness very quickly when you get a gunshot wound to head, if not immediately lose consciousness, but your body still may, and often gives reflexes and other movements, which indicates some brain activity, a brain trying (and failing) to function and produce awareness. And it's hard to determine whether they can know/feel any discomfort in that position or not, however short-term.
The people in this thread calling the guy a dumbass for trying to stop a robber, fucking hell.
I am legitimately confused. Is taking on an armed guy without any weapons really a good idea? I mean no seriously I want to know why are you so angry about this although to be fair I've never seen a gun in my life, so maybe I have a skewed perspective on how dangerous they really are
Human scum. [editline]25th November 2015[/editline] "Oh no, someone saw me doing some light misdemeanor, better commit felony"
Reminded of that scene in Schindler's List.

I didn't read it at first and I assumed he approached to help that woman avoid getting kidnapped. That's what it looks like, he was probably already out of the car and on the phone before the dude whipped out the weapon.
It looks like if anything the Tec 9 saved his life.
The Tec 9 is shit. It jams all the fucking time
What I don't get is that the initial shot didn't seem to debilitate him to where he HAD to lie down, he just chose to. He didn't attempt to move out of the way when the guy took aim at his head either. I don't get that, he goes in to stop an armed robbery and just lays down to get shot in the head to die?
In both your posts you seem to advocate that it was his fault that this hood rat tried to murder him. Like he was in the wrong and the guy who shot him wasn't. Stop it.
Your friend murdered some person? Whoa, okay then.
Yeah dude sometimes people don't live incredibly sheltered lives and actually experience some terrible shit. It's nuts I know
The people in this thread calling the guy a dumbass for trying to stop a robber, fucking hell.
If he just called the police, he probably wouldn't have been shot in the stomach and almost executed twice.
If he just called the police, he probably wouldn't have been shot in the stomach and almost executed twice.
While he could have done anything he wanted to the girl or just decided to shoot any bystanders he saw, which I wouldn't put it past someone who was willing to execute a guy in the street, and then attempt another try when the first one doesn't work.
