Quick Pro Quo: NASA gets shit funding, we have no little to no terraforming technology, or the technology to support life on mars for more than a few weeks/months for even a small crew of people.
Maybe 20-50 years from now, I guess, but it's kinda silly to think we'll use up a whole planet in a few generations. Heck, it's taken 2000 years for us to fuck up this planet.
