Aliens
Aliens
not the point i meant that there were too many aliens getting gunned down like they were nothing i thought they used cunning and stealth to kill people
It doesn't seem right for the marines to be fucking up hordes of aliens all at once. Remember how there was only one in the first movie? Look at how much damage that one made!
Let's not forget the Aliens movie where the first encounter ended up with more then half of their squad dead. And they didn't find out where Weirbozky went :(

To be fair that scene was cut
I know, but if you watch it, its obvious there are more than one. But I'm sidetracked. Does anyone know when this takes place, because if it takes place afterward, we could have a Starship Trooper sized intergalatic war taking place.
It takes place afterwards.
Wasn't this originally going to come out in 2009/2010 or so and was a totally different kind of game?
Everything reminds me of Natural Selection 2 in that trailer.

if this plays like a zombie game I'm going to be pissed the old alien VS Predator 2 games were so boss, I have the gold edition. Sega or Gearbox or whoever is making it if you screw it up well then fuck you I'll still love you though
not the point i meant that there were too many aliens getting gunned down like they were nothing i thought they used cunning and stealth to kill people
In Alien, there was only one Xenomorph, and without communication from others it had to rely on stealth and cunning. In Aliens, where there were a few hundred of them, they could easily brute force a group of hostile creatures without trouble. If you recall the scene where the remaining marines were holed up in one area of the terraforming facility, they welded up whatever entrance they came across. Except for the spaces underneath the floor grates and ceiling panels. While the aliens were getting cut down by the autocannons (which were, even for machines, trigger-happy) it took them a while to find another way around, since they'd be more familiar with areas that they've infested with their "creep" (like that gooey crap the Zerg covered surfaces with.) When they did finally sneak right under the marines feet, it was game over. They didn't need stealth and cunning then, because with great numbers they could destroy almost anything.

The guys in Aliens were actual marines with lots of really big guns, not to mention that they had at least twice as many people as the first movie.

It's like trying to compare a firefight in a football stadium with a search and destroy mission in a corn maze.
what it was going to be back in '10 was exciting, But I really don't mind the change.
who would want to play an aliens game where you only fought 1 alien and you couldn't kill it until the very end. might as well just make another movie.
actually i would totally play this it could work like the chzo mythos series, like a horror point-and-click
