Inhale.
You're ignorant
That was a sarcastic remark. I used to be a huge stoner, I quit since I need to get a job(my friend says they sell synthetic urine that works pretty well though so I might try that).
Drugs are bad in the first place, and if you're not getting high off it you're stupid for buying it (And smart for quitting later)... Pretty much all your doing is scarring up your lungs >.> [editline]03:48PM[/editline]
1. Can cause dependence. 2. Can cause disease. 3. Can cause brain damage. 4.
To be cool. :downs:

Then why do people do it?
Too feel good. because they are depressive.
1. Can cause dependence.True, but not as bad as physically addictive substances 2. Can cause disease.Has been shown to also Cure Alzeimers, and reduce the size of lung cancer 3. Can cause brain damage.not true, do some research 4. Can cause memory loss.true 5. Can increase heart rate.in certain people yes, but other people it doesn't 6. Can cause nausea, dizziness, confusion, agitation, anxiety, and paranoia.in some people, not all 7. Can raise blood pressure.true in some cases 8. Marijuana smoke contains even far more carbon monoxide than cigarette smoke.Pound for pound yes, but it doesn't contain any of the other harmful chemicals in cigarettes and you don't smoke weed on the same level as cigarettes 9. Trying to become un-addicted is very difficult.true You also forget that weed also increases appetite, it can help with pain, it can cause a euphoric feeling, and it makes everything a lot more fun/
have you ever smoked weed? I've yet to hear about anyone being obsessed with it. Its not just relaxation obviously, or it would be no more effective than cigarettes. also you are really misinformed. people have smoked weed for years non-stop and not had a problem quitting.
That's bullshit, I know quite a few people who have gotten really bad addictions to marijuana, where even going a week without smoking is extremely difficult. Saying it's not addicting is wrong.
1. Can cause dependence. Only for people with no self control. 2. Can cause disease. Yes, it may have a chance of cancer, but so does tobacco, and it's legal. 3. Can cause brain damage. The tests showing major amounts of brain cell loss, were tested on monkeys, and pumped using masks, and most of the brain cell loss was because of no oxygen. 4. Can cause memory loss. Most unbiased tests show that it's only temporary memory loss, and that's while you're high. 5. Can increase heart rate. Not sure about this one. 6. Can cause nausea, dizziness, confusion, agitation, anxiety, and paranoia. Again, temporary. 7. Increases blood pressure. From what I've read, it actually reduces it. 8. Marijuana smoke contains even far more carbon monoxide than cigarette smoke. This may be because pot users inhale more smoke than tobacco, but not entirely sure 9. Trying to become un-addicted is very difficult. Again, only if you have no self control. Positive effects: 1. Relaxes you.
Marijuana isn't physically addictive. A test also showed that the THC in weed, kills some cancer cells. Weed also has many medical uses for things like; Glaucoma, Asthma, and more.
And since he isn't getting high off it anyways, there is no positive effects.
It also tastes good, I would smoke weed just for the taste if it was legal, whether I got high or not.
You should go to the doctor and get that checked out.
That's bullshit, I know quite a few people who have gotten really bad addictions to marijuana, where even going a week without smoking is extremely difficult. Saying it's not addicting is wrong.
A person can only be psychologically addicted to marijuana, not physically. A person can be psychologically addicted to ANYTHING.
1. Can cause dependence. No it can't? It's not physically addictive. It can be psychologically but it's no more addictive than chicken wings or TV. 2. Can cause disease. Er, what? 3. Can cause brain damage. It does not cause brain damage, the study conducted on this was executed wrong and published horribly. 4. Can cause memory loss. It makes it harder to remember things, only when you're high, It doesn't make you lose your memory. 5. Can increase heart rate. So can caffeine, arguments and sex. 6. Can cause nausea If you smoke too much, goes away in 15 minutes, last time I checked alcohol can leave you with this for hours., dizziness see nausea, confusion, agitation, anxiety, and paranoia. The rest of these all come while you're high, if you can't deal with the minor side effects of thinking the cops are near by, then don't smoke. 7. Increases blood pressure. So does alcohol, cigarettes and again, sex. 8. Marijuana smoke contains even far more carbon monoxide than cigarette smoke. Where did you get this? And if this is true, it doesn't matter, because a far less amount of weed is smoked than cigarettes, where one person would smoke a joint a day, they could also be smoking a pack of cigarettes, which would be a lot more unhealthy. 9. Trying to become un-addicted is very difficult. You can't be addicted in the first place. And it's as simple as not smoking, because it's not physically addicting. Positive effects: 1. Relaxes you. Makes you happy, chilled out, enjoy more things in life, see life in different perspectives, food tastes better, music sounds better, things are overall better.
.
Marijuana isn't physically addictive.
It's mentally addictive, very very mentally addictive since it gives you such a good feeling. It's like watching TV or playing Video Games. If you do it too much you become dependent and it can become extremely hard to quit.
1. Can cause dependence. 2. Can cause disease. No it cannot. 3. Can cause brain damage. No it cannot 4. Can cause memory loss. Short term, can be easily avoided in moderation 5. Can increase heart rate. So? So does caffeine. 6. Can cause nausea, dizziness, confusion, agitation, anxiety, and paranoia. First 5 can easily be avoided, paranoia is rare and also hereditary. 7. Can raise blood pressure. Unlikely, and can be easily avoided 8. Marijuana smoke contains even far more carbon monoxide than cigarette smoke. But since THC kills off all the cancer cells before they become a problem, the only downside is reduced lung capacity. 9. Trying to become un-addicted is very difficult. It's not physically addicting, isn't difficult compared to any other drug. Learn you're facts before you post a substancial amount of bullshit.
.
All the cool kids do drugs.
Drug discussion?
I didn't read the entire OP but I am guessing it was his first time on weed? If so it's common to not get high, smoke a few times to get high. Also, real men smoke joints made with Stride Gum paper. http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=17569283&postcount=26
A person can only be psychologically addicted to marijuana, not physically. A person can be psychologically addicted to ANYTHING.
Yea, but the fact is that marijuana gives you a very good feeling, that makes it so much more addicting.

And just because it cures some diseases, doesn't mean it won't cause others.
Oh and I forgot to add. Marijuana almost always reduces Nausea, not cause it. That's why they give it as medicine to Chemo patients
1. Can cause dependence.True, but not as bad as physically addictive substances 2.
1. Can cause dependence. Marijuana is not physically addictive. You can however become psychologically addicted like you can to any of your favorite food/drink. 2. Can cause disease. No it doesn't. 3. Can cause brain damage. Nope. This idea was presented when scientists pumped pure weed smoke with absolutely no oxygen into the lungs of rhesus monkeys for 6 minutes at a time. Their brain damage was caused by extreme oxygen deprivation, not THC or any other cannabinoid. 4. Can cause memory loss. Your short term memory does suffer, but ONLY when you are high. 5. Can increase heart rate. Not necessarily a bad thing. 6. Can cause nausea, dizziness, confusion, agitation, anxiety, and paranoia. In some, yes. 7. Can raise blood pressure. It lowers blood pressure. 8. Marijuana smoke contains even far more carbon monoxide than cigarette smoke. Yes, but marijuana smoke doesn't damage the lungs like tobacco does. 9. Trying to become un-addicted is very difficult. For some, it can be somewhat difficult. But it is only a psychological craving one may have.
My response.
You're basing you're answers off of Medical Marijuana, which in a lot of cases is far less powerful than Marijuana bought on the street. And just because it cures some diseases, doesn't mean it won't cause others.
Actually medical marijuana is about 20 times more potent than street shit.
It's mentally addictive, very very mentally addictive since it gives you such a good feeling. It's like watching TV or playing Video Games. If you do it too much you become dependent and it can become extremely hard to quit.
Um, no. Stop acting like you know shit about weed. It's extremely easy to quit. All you have to do is stop smoking it, Its just as easy as turning your computer off and walking outside for someone who is "addicted to their computer."
Most of the "negatibe side effects" you hear about are bullshit, research more and you'll see.
Of course the worst negative effect it has is making you poor and a total douchebag if you smoke pot all the time and become a pot head, or do it all for the social status.
there's a difference between "I'm fucking depressed and shit is so much better on pot" "HOLY FUCK I NEED A HIT" mainly because in the first part, he is depressed, and shit is much better on pot before you tout some dumb shit at me (UR JUST ADDICTED MAN), I've smoked a few times, and it was more than six months ago
Yea, but that doesn't change the fact that it is addicting. I'm not saying it's the worst thing in the world but you are lying to yourself when you say it is completely non addictive.
When I first smoked it took 4 or 5 times. Maybe your body's just not used to it, and if you try it next weekend you'll feel it again.
Yea, but that doesn't change the fact that it is addicting. I'm not saying it's the worst thing in the world but you are lying to yourself when you say it is completely non addictive.
Marijuana is not a chemically addictive substance. It can by psychologically addictive like video games, masturbation, or good food, but you can't be chemically addicted to it like you can be to cigarettes or heroin.
You're basing you're answers off of Medical Marijuana, which in a lot of cases is far less powerful than Marijuana bought on the street. And just because it cures some diseases, doesn't mean it won't cause others.
Are you stupid? The pot people buy at clinics is AMAZING weed, usually much better than shit you can buy elsewhere. That's why the medical marijuana sells cookies for 20 bucks each in my city. They're amazing and extremely potent.
It's mentally addictive, very very mentally addictive since it gives you such a good feeling. It's like watching TV or playing Video Games. If you do it too much you become dependent and it can become extremely hard to quit.
That's why people that have no self control shouldn't use it. Also, that's why there's so many fat people, they like the feeling of eating food, but they over do it.
1. Can cause dependence. 2. Can cause disease.name 1 and explain it 3. Can cause brain damage. been proven untrue 4. Can cause memory loss. never enough to matter unless you do it way to much for a long time 5. Can increase heart rate. 6. Can cause nausea, dizziness, confusion, agitation, anxiety, and paranoia. 7. Can raise blood pressure. 8. Marijuana smoke contains even far more carbon monoxide than cigarette smoke. prove it 9. Trying to become un-addicted is very difficult. people quit all the time no problem. it isn't any more addictive than coffee. Positive effects: 1. Relaxes you. a lot more than his, obviously
All of the bolded numbers are only effective during the high or only problematic to people who already have physical problems/illnesses.
Um, no. Stop acting like you know shit about weed. It's extremely easy to quit. All you have to do is stop smoking it, Its just as easy as turning your computer off and walking outside for someone who is "addicted to their computer."
You've obviously never seen someone with a heavy addiction to computer or tv. I have had no trouble quitting weed, nor have I had trouble quitting TV and Computer when I had to. Some people have a stronger addiction. [editline]11:01PM[/editline]
That's why people that have no self control shouldn't use it. Also, that's why there's so many fat people, they like the feeling of eating food, but they over do it.
Yea, people have a bad tendency to over do it.
Yea, but that doesn't change the fact that it is addicting. I'm not saying it's the worst thing in the world but you are lying to yourself when you say it is completely non addictive.
When they say that, they mean physically, it may be mentally addictive, but that depends on the person, and it also means that if they're mentally addicted to it, then they made their choice to use it, besides the few negative effects.
