Well this is pretty straight forward, you're not smoking right.
1. Can cause dependence. 2. Can cause disease. 3. Can cause brain damage. 4. Can cause memory loss. 5. Can increase heart rate. 6. Trying to become un-addicted is very difficult. Positive effects: 1. Relaxes you.
How the fuck does somebody get addicted to it? Sounds like you just pulled this out of your ass.
I always consider those people trolls. They say shit to get a shitstorm going.
Nah, it's pretty hard to get addicted. You don't smoke it cause you need it, you smoke it as a social experience. Kickin' it with friends just laughing at chilling.
Seriously, what's with so many people being obessed with smoking pot? It's a fucking drug that has multiple negatibe side effects, and few if any good effects, except for a very temporary feeling of relaxation. Good thing you decided to quit.
No. Again, you just don't know what you're talking about. Why are you so insistent on putting your opinions as facts on just about every issue? [editline]07:15PM[/editline]
It's mentally addictive, very very mentally addictive since it gives you such a good feeling. It's like watching TV or playing Video Games. If you do it too much you become dependent and it can become extremely hard to quit.
No. It is not very mentally addictive. It is only as addictive as you are prone to being addicted. It's called fucking Will Power, and so many people seem to miss that. [editline]07:18PM[/editline]
I agree, there is nothing physically addicting about marijuana. However anything that causes you to have a good feeling can be extremely addicting mentally.
No. Not true. Do you feel good when you jack off? Yes. Are you addicted to it? No(I'd hope not). Just because something feels good doesn't mean you get addicted to it. At that rate, why call anything addictive? EVERYTHING you enjoy would be addictive.

Anything enjoyable that is not taken in moderation has the potential to be addicting.
im addicted to your posts
There are people who are addicted to masturbation. Anything enjoyable that is not taken in moderation has the potential to be addicting.
My point is, EVERYTHING YOU DO is addictive if you let it be that way. Arguing that weed is addictive because it makes you feel good is a terrible way to go about things. Every possible thing you do you can, and if you let yourself, become addicted to. Weed is the same. Why separate it and make it worse than it is? You can argue this all you want, but your basic point is "Because something can be addictive, it will be addictive", which just isn't true.
Well that sucks. Try meth!
I laugh at people who have never tried weed They're all missing out on something wonderful
Although people give you boxes, it's a symbol of putting all that dumb shit you used to do in them, and throw that shit away. Good job.
Although people give you boxes, it's a symbol of putting all that dumb shit you used to do in them, and throw that shit away. Good job.
Because choosing to smoke weed is dumb.
It's been a couple years since I last smoked marijuana (except for this weekend). In that time, I have added about 1/3rd of weight and about 9 inches of height. This weekend, I wanted to get with one girl who was seemingly 'open' to trying new things so I asked a friend of mine if he wanted to smoke a few bowls. Well, I get to the place where I'm going to smoke, and the girl I want to get with can't come. So.. I just smoked a few bowls with my friend, talking to her on the phone. She promised to smoke with me the next day (It would be a sunday). I didn't feel any sort of buzz that I remember from a couple years ago. I wasn't worried, first time smoking in a while. It's a common sort of thing to not feel high, I guess(ed?). I buy a few g's of dope from my friend for Sunday and, being a non-smoker, borrow his piece instead of making a ghetto one. Sunday comes around, I hang out with her for most of the day. Shit gets fucked a lot of my friends who are against smoking show up. She gets cold feet. We split for the night, since she wouldn't want to be near us while smoking. I drive two other friends to this one place and again smoke a few bowls. This time I was using more of my stuff, getting the greens and all. Thought I'd get high after 2 bowls to myself. Well I didn't but my friends did. One leaves to go with his bitch or girlfriend or whatever the hell they have between them. The other stays with me and is joined by his friend. I drive back to the place where we left the girl I wanted to get with (it was a party or gettogether at a friend's house). Not stoned we talk a bit, she doesn't get mad. I have convinced her that I wasn't actually angry at her for setting me up to fall. My friend is stoned and being a fool. The night ends. The next night (monday) I go try and get stoned with a friend from sunday. Again, toking 20+ hits and I don't feel anything. We spend the rest of the night outside a poor girl's house. My friend was friends with her and was trying to get free food. He failed and it took around 3 hours for him to leave. Meanwhile, I was in the car, texting and apologizing to this girl. I have a conversation with the girl I was trying to get with saturday and sunday. She has now decided not to smoke, ever. I'm cool with that. Today is tuesday and I have had two brownies and even ingested 2 g's of american grown weed. I don't even feel a buzz. Something is up and it's not my weed that's the problem. I know what weed is and the stuff we were using was some strong shit. The two brownies were not made with my pot, and one should have been enough to get me high. _ I have decided to quit this, it's useless. I have taken a hot bath and gone to a sauna, hoping for an "exercise" effect where you get high from sweating after smoking a lot. No more pot. Even taking my weight (210 lb) and height (6'3") into account, this doesn't make sense. I must have somehow developed an extremely high tolerance.
You know dope isn't pot right? I hope you didn't really buy a "few g's" of dope because that would be meth that you bought. Big difference. Also, hold the smoke in your lungs longer.

Meth has many nicknames, but dope is not one of them. Dope either refers to Coke, or Weed, and generally weed.
Yea, but the fact is that marijuana gives you a very good feeling, that makes it so much more addicting.
So the only reason it is addicting is because of how awesome it is? Well that doesn't really sound that bad at all. In fact, that sounds exactly like video games, or anything else someone might enjoy.
When have you heard about a guy or girl smoking a bowl, and going out and stabbin someone. It doesn't fucking happen, marijuana isn't dangerous to other people.

I didn't look it up so I assumed what they said was right, since they actually use and buy meth. But if they do meth, they aren't smart in the first place.
i'm seeing a pattern everyone here who has smoked weed is defending it in some way or another people who haven't experienced it are attacking it what does that suggest boys and girls
I haven't smoked weed and I'm defending it.

It can be addicting, it can reduce your motivation, and can harm your memory. I think it's fine to smoke, I couldn't care less, I just hate how everyone either thinks of weed as the devil's flower or as the best thing since sliced bread.

Hell, we prescribe people with ADD forms of meth, it's not as bad as it's made out to be. Most meth users around here at the very least never call it dope, only "Glass" or "ice" cause of the clear nature of the best stuff. Most people who smoke weed refer to it as weed, pot, ganja(Douchebag term) or dope, at least around here, but then again it has a million names. It's a scientifically shown fact that weed has very, very few downsides to its use and there's no point in freaking out about it. Are video games addicting? Do they reduce your motivation to do work? Harm your memory? Yeah, to all of that, if you let it.
THC doesn't actually hurt your brain. It only fucks with it for however long the THC is in there, which isn't very long. Alcohol destroys brain cells. So obviously alcohol is bad for you. What does THC do? It fucks with some receptors in your brain for a bit, then it goes away, leaving the receptors back to the way they used to be. A good reason why Marijuana isn't legal in most places is, it's hard to not be messed up on it. If you have a beer or a glass of wine, or a cigarette, you feel ok, and you are usually ok to drive. If you take one hit of marijuana, the comparison to how messed up you are to one glass of beer or wine is much stronger. So what I'm saying is, it's hard to be a little buzzed off of marijuana. Here's how I think it should be. Legal to smoke/use marijuana if you are 18 or older. Legal to grow/buy marijuana and marijuana products. Illegal to operate a vehicle under the effects of marijuana. Illegal to be under the effects of marijuana in public. Illegal to smoke/use marijuana in public. Someone please tell me the wrongs in that, because I see none.
Try it again in a week, strange stuff happens. I think many have experienced this once, no problem. I have at least.
I got 2 dumbs for this post because I "fell for the troll". Apparently the OP was bullshit. Anyway, something like this has happened to me, so I wasn't aware.
Weed isn't that great anyway.
Smoke more weed.
Weed isn't that great anyway.
Smoke more weed.
Smoke more weed. Smoke more weed.
Nah I don't like it
no offense, but you ll get better advice here and not "drugs are bad" / "weed sucks" responses
