An eagerness for civility has been shown by Francisco, and as such the TPA will undeploy and leave on the condition that Francisco desist from creating anymore missile silos.
Recruitment rates for the militia rises by ~500% and recruitment rates for the TPA increase by ~10% due to xenophobic culture and mass panic of enemy troops in borders
Hyper jets are re-deploying to the home front, and the TPA is being mobilized. Militia are at ready.
The Basileia demands all hostilities are ceased, and status quo restored, and if not they are fully willing to use force to make it happen. The Basileus is quoted as saying, "We thought the Terrans were a rational people, but clearly they're about as mentally sound as the pretender to the throne! I do not take threats to use weapons of mass destruction on the civilian population of a nation lightly! ... Even so, if they will stand down I will negotiate."
also I have stuff to do, be back in a week probably.
[thumb]http://u.cubeupload.com/gregmasterx/worldwar6.png[/thumb]
Due to the Basileia's unwarranted attack on their ally, the sovereign nation of the TPA, as well as the countries' willingness to follow the previous ruler's wish to invade France, the NCE cuts its ties with the Basileia.
No intention of retaliation has been made as of yet, but the military is on high alert, and some fleets have been mobilized to protect Dutch assets in case of yet another attack.
In other news, negotiations have come to a close and the land transfer with the CSEE has succeeded. Slavic territories in the south have been granted in return for the rights to some of the CSEE claims in the north.
Annexations also continue. The NCE requests the ISK halt their expansion east until arrangements between the countries can be made. (steam sometime)
Spread of the xenophobic Terran culture is slow due to the NCE's interaction with foreign nations.
A missile defence structure has been added to the legend. I think we should keep their production slow and their range limited.
(I'd like to add that my new territories are only so barren because I don't have the time to fill them in right now, I'll get to that soon.)
As a result of the TPC's withdrawl, the Basileus retracts his threat for now, stating that as long as a peace can be negotiated, the Basileia will not prompt war.
Bringing infantry there in one go seems like breaking rule 3, IMO.
Declare.
It is.
Reg you're out of bounds, you moved your troops too far too quick move them back.
-snip-
Killo can you get rid of my troops that are where the TPC roads used to be, I can't do any editing right now
Also feel free to remove the Regent's troops and control over your own territory

rigorous expansion in SE Asia
new annex pattern
removed a naval unit in France
will halt expansion to focus on building and tech
Priorities: fix butt-ugly infrastructure, move the capital from No'kis to Almaty, build towns and search for iron, remove dispatch units and bring them to Karakalpakstan.
Revolutionary movements are gathering in No'kis to dispose of nig nog poly wog. A resistance movement, the Great Khan's Army, has gained significant support & it hopes to turn the ISK into a khanate.

-Annexation of Hokkaido and Malay Peninsula
-Control of land
-capital moved from Nukus (No'kis) to Samarkand.
-semi-Annexation of south Iran/Pakistan. (This is to ensure no one claims this area except Oman. I will lease it to him if he comes back)
-removed some fortifications, an attack is not likely.
I hate to do this but here I go...

Catchup declare
-In the past few months the Basileia's forces basically kicked the loyalists' asses.
-The Basileus has been returned to power, and during it all two great projects were completed.
-The strait of Gibraltar, previously a bridge, has been filled in and replaced with a canal to block access to any possible invaders without permission of the Basileia.
-The canal of the Red Sea has been further filled in, allowing more troops to move across it at a time.
-For now both canals will remain open to anyone who doesn't have bad relations with the Basileia, i.e almost everyone.
-Except the TPC. Screw those guys.
-Claims staked on parts of South and Central America. Annexation of Panama.
-Claims staked on a large portion of North and East Africa.
and now I leave again to do other stuff

only certain countries are permitted to enter the Strait of Malacca or the Sunda Strait
Those being France, The NCE, the TCP, Francisco, China, and those little nations in Australia
Filled in the Persian Gulf
Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and say that I think these whole 'blocking off entire sections of water' are unrealistic.
There's no way you could fill in the strait of gibraltar or any part of the red or arabian seas. It's too wide and too deep you'd never have enough material to do it. Not only that but water needs to be able to flow from these areas.

Technically though we aren't in this time period so you could make an exception for it.
If anything it would be Aral Sea 2.0
We're, at most, 15 years in the future. We're not going to have the ability to dam an ocean in 15 years.
[editline]9th July 2014[/editline]
Some examples:
To fill in the Strait of Gibraltar at its narrowest point:
There's a road across the splint of land now, so let's assume it's 500 feet wide. With an average depth of 1475 feet and a width of 9 miles, that's roughly 35,046,000,000 cubic feet of fill material.
For the Strait of Hormuz:
10,400,000,000 cubic feet of fill material.
For the Red Sea south of Suez:
77,900,000,000 cubic feet of fill material.
Impossible.

But you didn't complain when I built that long-ass bridge across the CASPIAN
Oh well, I will remove my dams once I declare (but I will heavily guard it)

Because it's a bridge, right?
There are feasible plans to build a bridge across the Bering Strait and the Strait of Mandeb. Long bridges exist everywhere, and the Caspian sea does not flow so a bridge there would be possible, just unnecessary.
To be fair such a bridge would be impossible NOW because most of the land over there is owned by poor countries that aren't interested in a bridge between each other.

I guess you could say that's true, although I didn't really put it at it's narrowest point for purposes (anyone with a basic amount of geography education should be able to tell you that oil is the number one resource in the region)
Update: The Khanate of Australasia is willing to give the CSEE 10 to 15% of its oil profits if they give over the Horn of Africa
25 if they give Yemen and south arabia
