Would've been even funnier if he shouted inch'allah.
that's what happens when you don't cool the tube, retard
it's funny because nobody would be laughing if it was an american soldier
But these guys are worthless scum. I don't mind them blowing up.
it's funny because nobody would be laughing if it was an american soldier
I would. Human stupidity is the same everywhere and is laughable at anytime.
Maybe because he's fearing for his life? He's not just going to act like a tripod and stand there when a terrorist just blew up in front of him.
I know I know but he did it so slow you'd figure he might as well keep it up to film the aftermath but I guess they don't want to show one of their own getting blown to smitheroons to the rest of the world.
The terrorist had bunch of shells next to him. The mortar was probably buildt from scraps and blew into pieces, and the explosion caused rest of the shells to blow up.
it's funny because nobody would be laughing if it was an american soldier
Chances are he was targeting a civilian population.
Chances are he was targeting a civilian population.
i think hes firing at soldiers
suicide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The terrorist had bunch of shells next to him. The mortar was probably buildt from scraps and blew into pieces, and the explosion caused rest of the shells to blow up.
He didn't let the tube cool down
holla hot dog
allah buttplug allah buttplug
he died, it's over and done with. Another pointless casuality of war, even if it was his own stupidity that killed him.
Yeah fuck the terrorists. They're totally the bad guys. If I saw some kid join a group called the "rebels" after a government killed his family, and then he destroyed a major military installation in a suicide mission, he'd be a terrorist, regardless of circumstances or if some kind of apparition told him to do it. [editline]28th December 2010[/editline] Just saying, it's a matter of perspective. As far as the "terrorists" are concerned, the US is a big, greedy, oppressive foreign superpower and, to be honest, they haven't done much to disprove that.
You need to be educated, badly.
Was that a rigged mortar shell then? Or just poorly made equipment I'm sure an explosives/gun nut will know on here
I remember reading about this. Apparently, the equipment they use is extremely old and battered, so they might be using 1970's era mortars that have been sitting in a basement for 30+ years, so it's not a big surprise when things like this happen. That said, I'm glad he at least died quickly.

Oh, and yeah, the rebellion in star wars was trying to get rid of the oppression, not install it.
Death videos are not funny in any way, no matter who dies. [editline]28th December 2010[/editline] How the fuck is it funny that he dies? I mean come on, he probably had a family that's most likely gonna be poor now. If it was a US soldier, that accidentally threw a grenade too late, and he blew up, no body would think it was funny. Some of you guys are fucking inhumane.
That was horrible [editline]28th December 2010[/editline] I feel bad for the terrorist.
He was probably firing the mortar at civilians.
He was probably firing the mortar at civilians.
Let's make up stuff about him so we can feel better about laughing at his untimely demise.
i don't he was firing a mortar
If this guy died would it be funny?
He didn't let the tube cool down
Possibly, But i hardly think that's the case. The mortars ive seen being used had been fired faster than the terrorist did in this video. But the speed which the mortar is fired can definetly become an issue. The worst sceneario is the pin coming off while it's still in your grenade pocket, And the grenade pockets are generally made so that even if the pin would come off the other parts would stay inplace -preventing the fuse from being lited.
If this guy died would it be funny?
No.

[editline]28th December 2010[/editline]
No.
Yep.
We can laugh at the equipment he was using, and as soon as the video started and he started loading shell after shell i knew it was going to explode. [editline]28th December 2010[/editline] just look at the difference in this mortar tube and the other
It's still not very funny.
It's still not very funny.
Yes it is. Kind of like instant justice.
You guys (except Billiam) is missing the point here, I just used the grenade as an example. And besides, I don't think anyone's death is funny, at all. But really, what does the mortar have to do? All equipment can malfunction, it doesn't have to be the Taliban's that does.
the reason he blew up in the end was a new spotting system was being used against him it pin points the origin of the enemy artillary and fires off a round to counter it
Yes it is. Kind of like instant justice.
That's like saying it's funny to roast murderers in the electric chair.
Yes it is. Kind of like instant justice.
He could have been a terrorist, or he could have been an insurgent angry about U.S. presence in Iraq.
