The thing is, xbox 360 finger gun advert made sense. It showed how anyone can join in in the fun.
The wii advert is pretty simple, but it shows people having fun, and how the console works.
The latest ps3 adverts showcase the games, which makes sense, but the old ones like these are just weird. But, then again, you remember the advert, but I can't remember what the hell it was advertising.

It's not. It's an in-your-face advert. Sony is basically saying that the PS2 is so successful, that they can just make some bullshit advert that makes no sense and no one will be any the wiser.
Still it was pretty good, but I could've sworn that the gargoyle actually hit both of them. Like some kind of black humor thing.
