I'm going to watch it just because of Mater. He's awesome.
This. Is. AWESOME.
Nice :D
Heh. One of the bad guys is a Gremlin.
Micheal Caine as a British intelligence car? this part i approve of pixar! [editline]17th November 2010[/editline]
Pixar, please make The Incredibles 2. thank you goodbye.
also this sooooo much!
I liked the first film so I'll probably go see this one too.
Why can't they make a Incredibles 2 instead of this :frown:
Cars was the worst Pixar movie, still entertaining but I'd rather see a sequel to any other movie. I fucking hate Larry the cable guy.
If there is an old Audi TT or an old BMW Z4 they have to be complete douchebags
Was hoping they focused on Formula 1. Goddammit.
I didn't like the first "Cars". It's the only Pixar movie I would say is "bad".
Tokyo Drift meets American children... This will not end well.
Pixar is/was shit besides Toy Story 3...That one was actually pretty good.
phfff HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH oh good one [editline]17th November 2010[/editline] Soooo... is that Michael Caine voicing the British car. Come on guys, admit it: its the worst Pixar movie, but at least its still entertraining.
this looks an awful lot more like a Disney movie than Pixar movie. this would be the first Pixar movie i take zero interest in, even the first Cars movie caught my eye because it was at least different(ish, considering the Chevron cars).
Well it is the First film by Pixar Canada, who will only make Sequels to films pixar made i would like to see how they do pixar films
I'm going to watch it just because of Mater. He's awesome.
seriously? [editline]17th November 2010[/editline]
Well it is the First film by Pixar Canada, who will only make Sequels to films pixar made i would like to see how they do pixar films
evidently even more like a Disney Animation Studios movie than the first Cars, which was very heavily Disney.
Sigh, it seems that every single studio is trying to cashing in with the most dumbest franchises. Even the goddamn Pixar?!
the only good part was michael caine
Put Clarkson, May, and Hammond in it as guest voices and I'm sold.
Put Clarkson, May, and Hammond in it as guest voices and I'm sold.
Oh god yes Clarkson was in the first but not hammond and may
I have lost faith in Disney... :frown:
Oh god yes Clarkson was in the first but not hammond and may
He was? Where? Oh, and a car made for nascar would not work on a race against cars made dedicated to racing on a track thats not oval.
He was? Where? Oh, and a car made for nascar would not work on a race against cars made dedicated to racing on a track thats not oval.
According to most NASCAR fans, NASCAR cars can beat anything. Even though any circuit that requires any sort of skill will cause a nasty crash. And Clarkson:
Wow, i never noticed that. Cool
According to most NASCAR fans, NASCAR cars can beat anything. Even though any circuit that requires any sort of skill will cause a nasty crash.
Yeah, lets get a guy to drive a nascar car on Circuit de Monaco :v: Oh, i found this. http://www.epi-eng.com/piston_engine_technology/comparison_of_cup_to_f1.htm Good read if your interested But, hey i like pixar. Will watch
Seriously guys, knock it off. Pixar is like Valve. They're in it for the art and the stories. They are, however, still Disney owned. The Cars film sold tons of merch. There's no way this wasn't going to happen. Cars is the weakest Pixar film to date, but it wasn't BAD, it just wasn't up to the usual greatness of the other films. It was a bump in the road, and now they're being forced to revisit it. Difference is guys, Pixar does good sequels. They learn from mistakes and improve. I'm willing to bet Cars 2 is going to be a far superior movie. Toy Story is a classic, but Toy Story 2 showed how far they'd come since then and made a movie quite possibly stronger than their original. The spy thing might sound shallow, but really, with the premise of a world ruled by sentient vehicles used up by the first movie, what choices do you have to make a plot that stands out and draws people in? It's going to take higher stakes and more interesting scenarios for the cast to take part in. In short, another cartoon NASCAR movie centered around Podunk, Arizona just wasn't going to cut it. Seriously, I find it amazing how bitter people can be. There's always people, people with no personal stake in the matter, who seem to be waiting for the Gods to fall. For Valve to make a bad game. For Pixar to sell-out. For Fox News to stop being total hilariously evil douchebags. Why? Do you WANT today's entertainment to drop down a notch? I'm at a loss here.

I'm at a loss here.
The Cars films sold a ton of merch because it was Lasseter's lovechild and he flooded the market. I don't want Pixar to fail, I just know that it has, and what is left is a horribly depressing husk of what it used to be. Toy Story 2 had a plot. This is a fucking Harold and Kumar movie.
Cars was good. And Pixar handled Toy Story 3 (a sequel) well. I am sure they can pull this one off.
Oh come on! Cars was my least favorite pixar movie!

And Clarkson:
That was cool. And according to IMDb, Clarkson was only in the UK version.
Sigh, it seems that every single studio is trying to cashing in with the most dumbest franchises. Even the goddamn Pixar?!
Disney is making them do this. Disney made them do what they did with Cars, and twisted Pixar's arm to do the Cars Toons.
