About the wizardchan debacle, I would also like to add that the burden of proof lies on Zoey, and not on the users of wizardchan. And the only "proof" she has is accusations.
Don't be silly, she's a woman and therefore don't need proof.
zoe quinn is a fugly slut
How in the fuck can you think it's okay to hang out in a hotel room with a bunch of indie developers you're supposed to be writing about that night or the following morning? They're on a bed taking photos together acting like it's a goddamn slumber party. If I were a journalist, I'd stay away from anything like that because that's sketchy as hell.

These people seems to have no standards at all

I think now is the time for all video game journalists to stop and think "did I fuck zoe quinn"
In all honesty if someone came up to me and told me they think this is a non-issue, while I wouldn't agree with them, I could see where they'd be coming from. I mean c'mon, we aren't talking about corruption in the armed forces or a government, we're talking about corruption in gaming journalism. Is there really something worth salvaging in that industry that requires this much wasted time, effort and vitrol being thrown around?
Quick question, has Zoe fucked any of our mods?
Quick question, has Zoe fucked any of our mods?
Counter-question: is discussion on the topic still allowed here? The answer to your question is the inverse of the answer to mine.
Quick question, has Zoe fucked any of our mods?
No threads have been deleted around here, so no.
Quick question, has Zoe fucked any of our mods?
who would fuck any of those losers??
All of this is really unfortunate because I always felt that games like Depression Quest and Fez seemed like legitimately okay games that definitely fit a niche after I played them. I feel that if Fish and Quinn had never done any of the stuff they did, the games would have people looking at them without a bias as a result of the drama surrounding the authors.
who would fuck any of those losers??
M-me~

The cronyism involved in the situation also affects the ability of indie developers to compete in the market, as there is a strong connection between a relationship with a gaming journalist, and the coverage that the game receives, which is very important in determining the potential sales a game could generate. So yeah, it's not like it's something too major, but it does affect indie developers trying to make a living and the consumers who want a quality product and not to be misled.
M-me~
Me.
regardless of which "side" you're on, 2 words sum up this entire debacle mob mentality
