Not being a fanboy, but everyone that is just outright saying "this music is horrible" is fucking stupid. It's subjective, if you don't appreciate it then you don't, that doesn't mean the music is bad. Besides that though (this is the fanboy part), how can people [i]actually[/i] think it's that bad? Like sure some people may not enjoy rap music but this kid clearly has some talent. He was 16 when he made this track, and he is already displaying this level of ability. He is technically more skilled, and more creative as well, than a lot of the shit that is put out these days. When you have the radio spewing shit out like Bruno Mars and Party Rockers, how can anyone not be glad to see some new talent that is actually decent? Give OFWGKTA a chance, they will grow on you. Read the title and thought "I bet it's the video for Earl." I don't really get how anyone thought this was actually real though considering how it's obviously a music video and I doubt a video in which everyone pretty much kills themselves would fly. It's also about as objectively wrong as it's possible to get, given that tons of people who DO know what all of those things are think it's great. "I don't like this" would be a statement of opinion, and would have made you look a lot less dumb. If you hate pizza, people aren't going to care if you say a given brand of pizza is horrible, because you hate pizza and wouldn't know good pizza if it bit you in the ass, so who cares what you think? I really dislike a lot of rap music, however i still think it is one of the only forms of music that has any meaning behind it other than partying and stuff (the good rap that is). In my opinion RnB is like Hiphop that lost its way, kind of similar in the way prog-rock came into being then became so self absorbed and egotistical, it just became terrible (just listen to early genesis compared to later genesis) But i like some other forms of rap/hiphop, for example Blackalicious has to be in one of my top 10 groups that i listen to on a weekly basis. Sorry if i waffled but you manged to put in words something that i have hated about people saying "lol, this is shit, its all shit i hate it because its shit" no its not shit because you hate it.
